wow, thanks for the replies, yes i have seen the film and followed the rule for a week until a guy asked me out (somethings you can't say yes too no matter what..) and i've already had by lvl 115 runescape period and i plan to never return to it, caused nothing but awkward conversation and saying 'lolz' a lot when it wasn't needed
i'm starting to go against the party idea now after your replies as it probably isn't the best idea and getting on bad terms with my flat mates from the start isn't a good idea, i agree.
one other thing i was wondering was more how to decorate my room? the space will be limited so how do i make it a place that people (girls mostly) will feel comfortable in? i plan to keep it extremely clean (especially the en-suite) and well lit - is it girly to have fairy lights? i was also thinking about tie-dying my bed sheets with a scotland flag (if it's not too hard) or something colourful and eyecatching yet unique but would this also be classed as a bit bent?
and what kind of posters would be a good idea to have on the walls? i quite like some banksy artwork and was also thinking of a mila kunis poster (she's hot as ****) and possibly the trainspotting "choose life" poster if anyone is familiar with it.
i'll be grateful of any opinions
X
Good choice on the party, if your mates are cool with it, maybe have one in a week or two once people know who you are.
I decorated my wall with posters and stuff that I found interesting. They had a sale of a whole bunch of different posters and I got a little of everything. I also had a little fitness section because I'm into working out and all.

I start in Uni likewise in one week. I have a little question: There is always some sort of introduction where you hate to introduce yourself to the rest of the ''class''/''semester''. I hate the typical '' I am xxx, i am xx years old, i live in xx'' . Do you guys know of any other cocky funny or just funny way of presentating yourself?
Also how do you guys think one should do with the clothse the first day? Just casual or a little above?
The only time there was an introduction for everyone was when we met with everyone else on the floor and yeah we just said our names, where were from and something interesting about us. I mean it's not that big of a deal.
Don't worry about clothes or presenting yourself. As stupid and cliche as it sounds "just be yourself", I mean honestly you'll look like a poser if you try and be someone your not.
