On a good day. It seems that every day girls are buying taller and taller heels. Gals normally that are just over five feet are towering into clubs at near six feet. I bounce at a night club on Friday nights. Never mind the gals that are average height, they walk in like amazon women. I know there are elevator shoes, but it still wont put you close to eye level with half these chicks. Would it be peacocking to put myself in some serious elevator shoes, or just plain stupid?? More of a rant than question, but would love somebody's stance or opinion....thanks

I say just do it.

But srsly use your own brain to decide what is good for you and what is not! And if you are wrong..who the fuck cares!? That's right...no one.

It's important to understand that most women are strutting around in those shoes, not for your sake, but for hers.

She's constantly judged by society based on how she looks and therefore, she takes every possible assistance to look her best, constantly. What you can do is to recognize that, instead of trying to compete with it.

One of my early days, I met a girl who was wearing what you described as 'elevator heels'. I walked up to her, looked down at her feet and then met her eyes to tell her that, "Now those... (pause) must be killing your feet." and held her eye contact.

It did not immediately take me from the club to her bedroom, but it thawed her initial icy resistances, in my favour.

The more we can empathize with what women are going through just to 'keep the image up', the more they get attracted to us, because for the female it is a double whammy of 'empathy' and 'understanding'.

Don't let her (temporary) towering over you bother you. At the end, of the night, those six inches are coming right off.

P.S. If you want to make changes to your height, get insoles installed in your shoe, however, keep them not above 2 inches otherwise they look awkward.

To pull of heels like cubans etc you need to have balls. Most decent leather soled shoes will have at least 1" heels, hiking boots which can look very good will have at least 1" heels. Main thing is really to not let it affect you. Im 5'9" and ive never even thought about my height being a problem let alone had someone mention it.

It's an interesting point.

Technically, if height matters, it only matters while standing up or while standing next to taller people than yourself.

So, it really shouldn't matter if you wear lifts, even if people know you are wearing them, the result is the same, you are standing taller. But people will bust your balls if know you wear them.

I guess it's the same with hair pieces. Does it REALLY matter if it's a hair piece, no the result is you have a head of hair.

My gut feeling is it can only help you pickup, if a woman finds you attractive, and then down the road finds out you had lifts on, and that changes her mind, let her walk, you fucked her already anyway...any she LOVED it :D

I'm 6'3" and I say don't bother. I find a lot of these posts saying I wish I were taller funny TBH.

I feel like my height is detrimental sometimes, it's a built in peacock level and if my confidence doesn't match it some nights I'm just standing out and awkward instead of awkward under the radar where I wouldn't have to recover from the whole damn room everytime I fuck up. Magnifies everything I do. I also feel it intimidates a lot of girls who would ordinarily be comfortable with a guy their own height (or even shorter) and it's harder to set them at their ease. I'm total AFC so huge grain of salt for my advice but confidence is still the best magic bullet and not height.

Just go up to them and (happily) stare them down like a fucking Chi battle and they'll have respect for you. They're insecure if they are wearing those platforms in the first place...neg em.

Man up i'd say. I'm 6ft tall, still sometimes in my AFC i was intimidated by giys 3" shorter then me. Don't worry about your height, looks and stuff like that. Normal people like us can't buy expensive SPAM for our face, body. Just be confident about how you are, it's not like you are gonna change on the outside. But you can change the way you feel on the inside.
