It's not a really bad question.

My lady would indirectly ask me the same question after we started dating long term. She started dating me when I was poor and she was concerned if we started a family how I would provide. Because I loved her, I went into overtime to learn about Finance and Business.

But again it was a gentle nudge in the right direction. My response, "I have made my dreams come true, I can make them come true again."

This is a long-term question to ask though and if she loves she will just nudge you in the right direction. If you love her you will follow her lead.

Dating is dating and it should be fun. Long-term is serious but still fun.
