Ryan Gosling (the white kid from remember the titans and the notebook) played the lead role of a crack addicted grade school teacher in Half Nelson. Durring the movie he comes to a bar and opens a woman by sticking out his tounge and making a silly face playing a cocky cool role. It was an excellent demonstration of a pick up. Another time durring the movie he picked up two decent looking women claiming that he wasa teacher and he was helping the world (the women ate it up). It reminds me of what Grant Adams was saying about having Brass Balls and a tender heart.

Watch this movie and you'll see.

Come to think of it, Don Imus is probably the oldest Alpha Male out there.

I don't know why nobody ever includes Bill Murray as a great example of an alpha male. Watch any of his movies (not including the recent ones) and you'll notice he never accepts anyone's frame but his own. He can throw frames back in people's faces -- even outframe reality itself (Groundhog's Day, The Man Who Knew Too Little). Check it out.

Charlie from good luck chuck (came out recently). I just finished watching it and except for the totally cliche and dumb ending it is a great movie for PUA. Charlie has good game up till the point where he sleeps which what's her face that looks like Jessica Alba (another good reason to watch the movie!). How it should of ended- Charlie sleeps with 100 other women and gets over the hot penguin ass instead of moping around all day. Happy ending.

Did I mention before I'm a sucker for romantic comedies? Noting Hill is the best, but Hugh Grant just isn't Alpha Male type. He's cute a mushy and everything I recommend not to be unless you know how to pull it off (which most people don't)

Anyone can walk into a bar and pick up a random girl.
The trick is to make the experience unforgettable to her.
A real PUA will make every women he encounters feel like she experience something once in a lifetime.

More current alpha males might include Kid Rock, Brad Pitt, Patrick Dempsey from Grays Anatomy, Tommy Lee, Justin Timberlake.

I like most of the above. Recently though I like anything with Jason Statham (Transporter) and also Thor is quite Alpha Like. Another movie which is a little different is "Revolver." At the end Mark Strong does some wild stuff.

Yeah, his preference is nappy headed ho's.

The biggest Alpha movie was Stallone in "Cobra." Check it out sometime, it's a riot.

My list of alpha male examples:

James Bond(particularly Daniel Craig)
for obvious reasons

Tyler Durden - Fight Club
By definition, he was the narrator's alternate persona that had every manly trait he wanted to have.

Derek Vinyard(After jail) - American History X
Him coming out transformed and righteous after his jail time was an inspiration for me. I can't cite many 'alpha' mannerisms that he had in the movie but the biggest one that stuck out for me was when he went to the big Nazi party, blew off his racist girlfriend, knocked out his former leader and stood up for himself in front of nearly 100 men and women ready to kick his ass.

Edmond Dantes - The Count of Monte Cristo
There's a lot of metaphorical stuff in this movie as described in David DeAngelo's "Deep Inner Game" program. It's about a man who is betrayed by his best friend and is wrongfully imprisoned. In jail, he meets an elderly former priest who was also wrongfully imprisoned. He shared with him the secret location of great treasures that they would both share if they escaped. The old man passes away but Edmond manages to escape and comes across the treasure. After becoming filthy rich, he assumes a new identity as the Count of Monte Cristo. He devises ways to exact his revenge on the individuals responsible for his incarceration while coming to some realizations himself.

Han Solo
"I love you!"
"I know."

I know the list seems a little arbitrary and silly but that's just me I guess.
Pretty good list.

I agree. Dr. House is the most realistic alpha male out there, unlike fictional and a bit dramatic characters like Jame Bond, Don Draper, etc.

House is good at reading people, manipulate them and always get what he wants. He does not let other people faze him, he is always in his frame. He's confident, cocky and sarcastic. He definitely doesn't have oneitus, he treat women like crap. Those are all sort of things you can learn just by watching him. However, his personality is corrupted and fucked up emotionally.
