how much comfort have you built with this girl? is she somebody you'd just met, or someone you bump into occasion on campus, or someone you interact with quite frequently?

I'd have said: "ah so you're under the thumb"

If she was attracted to me she would laugh, if she wasn't she'd get annoyed. Either way I couldn't care.

I know her for about 1 yr now ! We flirt sometimes but since she got her bf he's too possessive

Have you made any concrete moves on her during this year? Because if you've 'flirted' for a year and she says you're the only man she trusts out of the others - then you haven't been flirting and you haven't been clear with your intentions.

I.e, she sees you only as a friend that teases her from time to time.
