Ok to make it short. I messed up the first mini date. We went grab a sandwich with a hb6. I don't talk too much. There was the long awkard silence I disnt know what to say nor do. Just asked questions. She also was texting a long time while we were eating. The date went bad. We didn't talk much. She hasnt text me after it, should i text first. Is there a way to recover after this. What would be my next step. Please help bros. do I ask her to go somewhere again.?

Why would you bother?

Are you a man? Does a man crawl after a girl he didn't connect with?

She's a 6, she's average. Why do you care about her?

Go find girls that like you and respect you, this one does neither.

There is a way you can recover, learn from it, move on... Best case scenario re-engage in a few weeks, and try texting her some funny stuff.

To answer your question, no there's really not a way to recover, and really, why would you even want to?

I know enough that THIS right here is a major red-flag...her interest level in you is obviously low at this point. I mean, unless she's a physician or superhero, your date shouldn't be on the phone whatsoever.

As the above posters said, the best recovery is to let this fish go before you lose more of your time and energy.

I don't see any room for recovery here. Whilst you shouldn't be a performing monkey on a date you need to keep your girl engaged/interested/entertained in order to get anywhere. Have some back up plans available if things start dying and you get stuck. These are things you can even pre-arrange with the girl through texting etc before you even go on the date, little challenges or whatever "I bet I can beat you in a thumb-war with my eyes closed" sets it up so if things start dying you can go "oh yeah I almost forgot I need to woop you in a thumb-war" just have little things ready to spring out just incase.

t0night is right about the texting, if the 2 of you have been quiet for a long time, she's going to get bored and want to entertain herself so if things are looking bad and this happens, it's time to really get your game going quick before you lose her interest all together.
However, I've actually seen quite a few times girls will be receiving texts from their girlfriends asking how the date is going, so if you are constantly keeping your target entertained and everything is going well, don't panic if she suddenly gets her phone out and starts texting, she could be (as has been the case on my last 2 dates) texting her friends to say how great you are lol.
