Not that I'm disagreeing, just asking - what's the problem with being open?
For example, say I'm open and she says "It would be my dream to marry you"
and I reply "We'll see how we go - but I would like to keep you forever too" (Open)
Is that the kind of openness were talking about?
If not, give me an example if possible
i've offered all i can offer on this topic.
the rest you will have to seek, interpret, learn, and experience for yourself.
i wanted to immerse you in some concepts.
not hold your hand down the path.
i'm not saying:
- that there is anything wrong with openness
- that there are certain tactics/exact things to say/do
what i am saying:
- is exactly what i said in the post
it's open to interpretation
some concepts are so big, so fundamental, so universal...
it trivializes them and does no good to try to pin them down.
it's like having a philosophical discussion over:
"why humans need to breathe"
because it's a fundamental truth.
it's base level.
kind of like the difference between giving you a fish and teaching you to fish.
instead of splitting hairs and asking for exact details...
just marinate in the larger concepts for awhile.
