I once travelled to fucking Finland to be with a girl I liked, do you guys know where Finland is? It's cold and Santa lives there, it's practically the North Pole.

Granted that I had met this chick and hooked up with her before I bought my ticket but if I did do the online thing and had met a girl like her I'm pretty sure I would have done it anyway.

I had an incredible time over there, it only lasted a couple of months and we don't talk anymore (her decision) but I will never regret taking that risk and having that adventure.

I made loads of cool friends and got to live totally out of my comfort zone, I think that experience was really great for me and I'm glad I didn't listen to all the people that were telling me at the time it was a bad idea because it turns out they were totally wrong.

Tranquility if you want to do this, if you think there is a chance that she is worth it, then go for it bro. Even if she isn't worth it at least you can look back one day and say 'I did it, I took a chance and I had an adventure'.

Life is just too short to play it safe.

Okay so if he is NOT looking for a relationship and is just looking for a holiday to another city then what is wrong with him making a contact there first? I'm not saying this is what he is doing but I know as a fervent traveller it has made my travelling experience so much better when I have had someone local I can like and trust to show me around.

I have a mate who use these internet sites to do just that before he travels, he goes online gets hot girls contacts from each city he plan on visiting on the proviso that he meets up with them when he gets there. This isn't something I have done because from the 12 months + I have spent travelling the world I already have friends from all over anyway but if I didn't I'd say it's actually an idea I would consider.

Well I don't know if you live in a small mining town or whatever but chances are there is plenty of talent in your own backyard you should be working on and internet dating sites are only supposed to serve as either a boredom killer or at most quick lazy solution to filling up your dating schedule because your work hours are rediculous and you need to make efficient use of your time.

If Internet dating sites are your primary mode of pick up then you need to re-evaluate your approach to game.
