i am logged into several dating sites. I would like ot know if people here have any resources or experience in writing a killer ad that would perk up the ladies attention and how to write mails that will get her to respond. Please help. How is is possible to do a pickup from a written letter?
I had a horrible experience with a speed dating site a few months back, the organizer of the event was completely retarded and rescheduled the event twice, then refused to refund me the money when I couldn't make it.
I sent her a letter and gave her a piece of my mind, threatened to take action with my credit card company, then went over her to her supervisor and got everything refunded. Total pain in the ass.
In my opinion, it's humiliating paying other people to set you up with someone who you may or (more likely) may not be attracted to. It's degrading to you as a man---think about it, you're admitting you're so helpless/useless around women that you need to pay some site to set you up with one, and
intrinsically lowers your value because you're paying for the privilege of meeting a random woman.
I totally disagree. I've found speed-dating to be fun and highly enjoyable. You get to try out your 'skills' on at least twenty women in under 3 minutes. I've had drinks bought for me a good few times. Have had the oppurtunity afterwards to not only open sets but to merge with others.
The bad side I've seen are the guys who drink to get confidence and expect some 'magic' to happen. They usually get blown out and vanish. And the guy who tries
too hard.
I've been to parties where woman have said that they would not do speed dating because they don't want to listen to a boring guy asking the same questions the last guy asked, for 3 minutes!
Just relax, go with no expectaions have a blast and people will respond positively to you.
