Would you like to be in the company of others who like to 'show off' about total utter bullshit? "The the county whack a mole runner-up 2008 . . . 5th place finish at the pimple squeezing contest 2007." - And being serious about it. This is sad . . . almost to the point of being funny.
You're assuming the spirit of this post refers to bragging. It's not. Maybe you've never been in love. But people who are in love with each other share intimate things about themselves. Telling her about my, 'interest' just felt natural. Pick-up is a large part of my life and I felt compelled to share that part of my life with her. So she could know the real me more fully and to understand her special place in my life.
This post is not referring to a guy who might wear a, 'pussy slayer' t-shirt, in order to brag about his PUAness. Sure it could be, but from what I've said, in the spirit of this post it's quite clear that's not the issue, nor what I'm about.

anybody who goes around telling others that he's a pua is typically a person with an innate ability repel others as opposed to attracting them.
Again I have to disagree. Guys talk to each other about pickup all the time, even non PUA guys. They share stories, conquests, highlights and near misses.
This means that naturally, in an everyday conversation about pick-up, the community, PUA and The Game could easily be raised as topics of discussion. This does not make you a social retard. I'm sure we've all shared it with friends at some stage. This is natural.
The only time what you're saying could be true is if a guy wearing his, 'pussy slayer' tshirt moves around a bar whispering in girls ears that he's PUA. Then your point would be correct, because this is creepy and unnatural. But I don't think anyone here is like that or talking about that when we discuss, "telling a girl you're pua".
