Hey guys. I don't post much, so here is at least some contribution to the community.

I have been playing night game past two months very often, and here are my ideas about how to deal with "Will you buy me a drink?" gambit from an HB.


story #1
First I have approached indirectly an HB7 in a club, we have talked, I have done some serious kino. It was on. SHe was 18, studying high school, from very poor family. She was interested and everything was smooth. Then we went to the bar, because we were both thirsty, to get a drink. Because of some previous notes from pua community I decided to NOT buy her a drink and I just bought one for myself. She immediately turn her body away from me, and started watching the rest of the club, completely ignoring me.

galaxy: What are you doing?
HB7: You didn't buy me a drink, I am not interested anymore. Bye.

and she left. Because I always think about what to do better next time, I decided to buy a drink to a next chick.

story #2
Different day, same thing, indirect approach, kino, some level of attraction, and we were also both thirsty so we went to a bar. I ordered and I paid drinks for both of us. After the waiter gave her her drink, she looked at me saying "When my boyfriends comes today, I will introduce you to him." and she blinked her right eye and walked away.


Fine. So, the first girl didn't want to talk to me, because I didn't buy her a drink. And the second girl used my interest to get a drink for free. Next time I am in a club facing a situation if I buy a drink to an HB or not, I really don't know what I am going to do.

I think usually buying girls a drink lowers their respect for you; however, for the first girl, since you knew she was poor, maybe you could have helped her out. Also after she told you she wasnt interested you could have either called her out for being a minor and not needing a drink, or said all you had to do was ask. Maybe you could have recovered. Either way there are still about 3 billion left.

@Flidais-I kind of agree with you on girl #1 being poor so a drink wouldnt be crazy.

Good way to counter this is to take pre-emptive strike to say to the girl,"Buy me a drink".

Put her on the spot first.

Another concept I never came across in the community is buying drink a reward.

Im all for buying a chicc Im gaming a drink if she's helping the seduction.

If she's being a bitch and I really have to dig deep-no drink.

But if she's showing genuine IOI's,flirting,allowing KINO,then WTF,buy her a drink a reward.

That's my new concept on buying drink.

Dont know if any dating coach or guru came up with it.

K-loc, good idea, maybe expanding on that you could make buying her a drink a contest or challenge of some sort, whoever loses buys.

I don't know about you guys, but for me, it would be awkward going to the bar to get a drink just for myself whenever I'm with people I know.

Perhaps deal with it before you get to the bar?
PUA - "When you get to the bar, I'll have an [Appletini] please" (insert drink of choice).
Her - "What? I'm not buying you a drink!"
PUA - "Tell you what, we'll play a game, looser buys"

Regarding game, it might be worth doing something like a coin toss and deliberately loosing* if you're genuinely worried about her financial state.

*toss coin, catch and grip it in palm of hand, use thumb to rub surface to work out if it's heads or tails then either open hand or slap it onto the back of your other hand to give the desired result.

Please, don't... Seriously, never EVER buy her a drink before sex. She thinks you want to buy her. If she rejects you - either she is a gold-digger or it's not the drink that is the purpose. One way or another - good for you. Let her work for a reward. If she mentions buying her drink - listen to old Mystery's "I never buy a drink to a woman on our first meeting. But you can buy me one. Or we can play for it." Boom - 5 questions game. Or "Sure, I will. Give me the cash."

And never EVER lead her to the bar. Thoughts running through her mind "Where is he taking me? He wants to buy me a drink? He wants to have sex? He wants to buy me? What is he thinking?", all of that within 5 seconds. Although you did nothing wrong, she attaches bad feelings to you. Then you buy only yourself a drink and she freezes, stunned, "Why did he take me here?". Let her stay on the dancefloor or couch, especially on high level, say "I'll be back", bring a drink for yourself only. She will miss these feelings she had when you were there, let her wait and realize she likes you.

It's THAT simple: don't buy, don't think of buying, don't elaborate.

@Surielx-Im aware of the general rules.

I never buy girls drinks(strangers).

If it's a girl you're already acquainted with-cool.

But if a girl's giving you genuine IOI's and she's basically helping the seduction,nothing wrong in rewarding her with a drink-when yo were gonna buy one for yourself anyway.

Rewarding & challenging a girl is never a bad idea.

If you've been tring t game a girl and she's a total bitch-no reward,i.e.no drinks because she's not contributing to the seduction.

And guys,it's not really the buying of the drink that is bad,it's what you do after.

Usually,when an AFC or natural buys a girl a drink,he feels as though he owns her,or she's endebted to him.

So,he stalks her all night,hangs around her all night and trails her all night,thinking the drink will get him the lay.

But,if you were to buy the girl a drink and totally play it cool,leave set,dont hang with her,game other girls,etc.

This will have a positive effect and the girl will chase and re-open you.

Not to get more drinks,but she'd have been intrigued that you werent like the rest.

So it's what you do and how you act after buying drink.

I never buy a girl a drink. even after sex. or even if were dating haha.

You can have perfectly good game without wasting your money and risking the chance she's just using you for a drink.

I work at a bar and get drink cards to hand out some shifts. Even then I don't use them on girls I'm gaming, I give them to my friends. Seriously, its so irrelevant to the end result in my mind, I just don't do it.

Finally, one supportive voice of reason.

If you buy her a drink before you two have sex, you are either gentleman or a nice guy. One way or another, she doesn't want to bang you.

Hey, why do we bother? It's too risky. It will NOT give you extra points to seal the deal but it can ruin everything.

Before you post anything, remember Style's "Annihilation Method"? Rourke in field, gaming two girls and failed miserably, thanks to 6 words.
