For what its worth I think a lot of girls like older men. I know a few of my ex's went for older men, with similarish age differences. Though it never lasts.

thanks guys. ive actually had a bunch of 22-25 yo women very interested in me. but the difference here is that i was in school and these girls got to know me slowly, in an unthreatening way and i do bring a lot of value to the table. i think you are right that there are a bunch of girls not put off by older men, especially ones from big cities.

in this case, this girl is absolutely amazing and i picked her up at a bar so she wont have the benefit of getting to know me gradually, just over a dinner. im afraid the difference will just turn her off immediately. i was thinking of lying to her in the beginning so she gives me a chance and then telling her the truth if there is a 2nd or 3rd date. but then im like just tell her upfront and see where it goes.

in terms of whether it will last, i agree the odds are way against it. but you never know. there was this HB9 24 yo who i never thought would be interested but then it turned out she had serious thoughts about marrying me.
