I have no clue what happened, but i think i have just failed a shit test.

There is this girl that was giving me tons of IOIs, like, "take me out for dinner", and "lets go see a movie". She just texted me asking about my plans this weekend. I answer saying im busy saturday and monday (it is thanksgiving in canada, long weekend), and she replys, "Just dinner at the boyfriends".

WTF?

i replied with, "Nice, we should hang out sunday", (assuming her dinner would be on monday)
Girl: I have my dinner sunday
Me: Howabout that movie friday?
Girl: haha i have plans with my friend sorry
Me: Ah i see well g2g to soccer i'll talk l8er

I have no idea if this is a shit test or what. i need someone to explain what this is, what i should have done, and what to do now.

"take me out to dinner" is more of a shit test, not really an IOI...

when you said "Ah i see well g2g to soccer i'll talk l8er", you were basically seeking confirmation from her. Rather than that, change the frame and let her KNOW that she is a guest in your reality. You pull the plugs and you are in charge. Make it seem to her that you are a privellege to be around and she is missing out.

Instead say something like "You already have plans? CANCEL THEM! I’M more interesting!” She probably won’t, but just suggesting that she cancel them for YOU sets you up as the prize.
