Again, feeling burnt out. I am actually backlogged with number closes I haven't had time to contact. My cell phone company took me off line for a payment mix-up, so I had to walk over to the cell phone shop. As I'm walking through the park I talked up a nice piece walking towards me. I told her I was looking for a certain place. She ends up walking me to the place and thus we start building comfort. It turns out she's not Japanese, but Chinese.

As we're walking I see this girl on the other side of the street wearing some short shorts and, I do not lie, this girl had the finest pair of legs I have ever seen on a woman!!! I so wanted to ditch the girl who was walking me to the place and go approach hb10 legs! To make things worse, soon after seeing hb10 legs, the Chinese girl tells me she is a housewife. FUCK!!! So now I'm pretty much waisting my time on this married Chinese chick while hb10 legs gets away. The Chinese girl is nice, but it's more like a friends kind of vibe and I number close her.

After work I went to meet a new internet girl. To my pleasant surprise she was a very tall, fine hb 9. Very sexy. I actually had plans to meet another girl around 8:30, so I only had about 30 minutes to meet with this hb9. I did something I NEVER do. I took her to a coffee shop. I hate coffee shops inside and out and I think they are the worst place to game a girl. Basically you sit there facing someone and it goes on like an interview. That's the last situation you want to put yourself in when trying to bridge beyond the friends zone.

However, I had extremely limited time and it was pouring rain outside, so that was my only option. It turned out to be a good thing as I knew off the bat that this was not going to be the kind of girl I could k cloze on the first meet. We hit it off really well. I focused on some other parts of my game. Since she was sitting accross from me I could not kino her, so instead, I focused on Alpha male body language (some of which I read about in another post on this site). The table was a waist length so we could see each other's bodies clearly. I sat with my legs open, exposing my crotch shifting between learning forward as "I'm interested in what you have to say", to leaning back in my chair exposing more crotch and expressing, "I am confident about who I am".

I cut the time short and hb9 was prying as to why I had to go early. I could tell she wanted more. This date was a good "teaser", if you will. Always leave them wanting more.

It was pouring buckets, but I still put out the effort and went sarging for about 45 minutes in the pouring rain. I got soaked, but it was worth it. She came over to my house this afternoon to watch a video. We didn't end up seeing much of the video and I had my best f-cloze this year. Such big round eyes, pretty face and so tiny just like a little doll. Her body was perfect. To top that off she is soooo freakin' nice and easy to talk to.

On the way to meeting her near the subway station I spotted a very hot young girl. She was smoking a cigarette in the park near the station. I approached her and did my SD opener. She seemed very interested in me and was asking lots of questions. It really sucked though, because I was NERVOUS AS SHIT. No, not AA nervousness, but I was nervous that the nurse I was meeting would see us since I was so close to the station. I cut it short and number closed her. Some weird shit happened today. Okay, I went to meet this girl I picked up on Friday cause she goes to school around where I live. Anyways, she was being totally flaky and I just assumed she wasn't going to come at the agreed time of 5:30. So I'm there in front of the video store which is near the redlight district where I live and one of the girls from the sex shops had just finished work. We made eye contact and I did my SD Opener on her.

Long story short, it turns out that another (sex worker) girl I picked up last Sunday was friends with this girl. She said, "Wait, are you the guy that was talking to my friend...cause your story sounds the same...." So I just played it off like I was a different person and I gave her a different name. Things just got worse from there. At 6:30, out of the fucking blue, the girl that I had originally come to meet shows up without contacting me or anything. But after she saw me talking to the other girl she got pissed an left. It's too bad, she was looking damn fine! But I hate flaky bitches, so good riddance she left anyways.

I tried a totally new opener today. I didn't feel comfortable with it because it was just an out of the blue question kind of like the "Who do you think cheats more, men or women?" Personally, I don't think those kinds of openers are good for street pick-up. With street pick-up you have to first establish that you are not some crazy guy walking up to strangers asking them random questions. The only way to establish that is to seem like you have a purpose to be talking to someone. That's why my SD opener has been so successful. But I have to stop using it in my neighborhood now because of the incident that happened today. I am going to start thinking of a new creative opener.

Man, I am just toasted from the past week. 5 f clozes in 8 days. Today I had to work all day and I was tired with not much energy.

During my lunch break I went to the supermarket. I saw this really hot girl in there. Usually I don't approach inside of stores because women tend to feel awkward and are worried about what everyone else is thinking, but I casually ran into this girl as I went down one of the food aisles. I used a new opener and just casually asked her a question about Japanese. Turns out she was a highschool girl. Damn she was beautiful. She was really easy to talk to as well and the conversation soon drifted to a personal level. Once I heard she was a highschool girl I kind of laid off on my attack and just kept it friendly and casual. She had a cat hair on her face and I told her she did and removed it for her. It kind of reminded me of that trick I read about that Style does where he keeps lint in his pocked to pull off girls when he approaches them. It actually built a lot of sexual tension and was perfectly acceptable kino.

I couldn't help myself and I told the girl to infra-red me phone info, but she said she didn't have a cell phone. Possible, but who really knows. Thinking back on it she didn't ask me any personal quesitons. Maybe I was the only one feeling the heat.

After work I was walking back to where I parked my motorcycle. An hb 9 walked by and glanced at me so I opened her with my SD Opener. Again, lots of flirtatious behavior. She even offered to walk with me the place I was asking about, but I declined because I had to get somewhere and instead tried to number close. She rejected me. This was a bit baffling. Thinking back on this pick-up I think I was showing my intentions too much and not being casual enough. She also didn't segway into asking me personal questions like girls who are interested will do. I have to work on a way to get girls to ask me personal questions. I am thinking hard about how to get girls to do this. How can I elicit interest?

June 19

Had to work with a different set of co-workers today. This one girl I work with is hot. But today she was dressed up nice and she was looking soooo fucking fine. We were talking and she was upset about something so I saw it as the perfect time for me to move in. We were sitting across from each other and I patted on the seat next to me for her to come over and sit next to me but she said "no". The fucking rejection hit me hard, really hard. I hate it when someone comes to me with their problems but then when I try to console them they reject me. That pissed me off.

After work I approached a super hot hb 9 with hb hb10 body. Her tits were so nice I was taking quick glances when we broke eye contact. Maybe she caught me, I don't know, but when I went for the number close she made some lame excuse. Actually, it's the same excuse girls usually say, "Sorry, I'm late for work. I have to go!" Whatever stupid bitch. If you really wanted to give me your number I'm sure an extra 30 seconds wouldn't kill you.

The way I deal with this now is I just try to be polite and say thank you even though I am really pissed off inside. No reason to show anger as it only makes you look worse. Try to have some class even though it's hard to do when people are obviously lying to you. Again, I will try not to blame the girl, but blame it on my game. There has to be some point I missed. Again, I believe I failed to elicit her interest in me and I still have to think of a good technique to turn the tables around and get the girl to start asking ME questions.

So that's only 3 approaches in 2 days, all rejections. I am burnt out and that's why I haven't been approaching so much. I'm also feeling a little depressed, so I think it's best to just keep to myself and wait until I have a new wind of motivation.

I have read some of your advice on other posts and I have to say I am very impressed. I can tell you have a high skill level.

Yes, I am aware of this phenomenon you have stated. My opener is not direct. It is not about the girl, and in that sense it is a disqualifier which is why I think it works. However, the opener is just fluff and not the real meat of my pick-up; it's just a excuse to get a conversation started with a stranger. Once I've opened that door I bring in different threads after some comfort has been built. The first personal question I usually always ask is, "Are you on your way home from work?" Then maybe after that I might ask, "Do you live around here?"

The big deal breaker though is, "What is your name?" This comes a bit later after comfort has been built, I've disarmed her nervousness about talking to a stranger and (if the approach has gone good) made her laugh. I call it the deal breaker because after I ask that question I always pause. Yup, that's right. I stay absolutely silent for about 7 seconds, look at her and smile as if I'm WAITING to be asked the same question. You would be surprised how many girls DON'T take the cue.

Funny enough though, I can still number close some of those girls who don't ask my name even though I have asked theirs. After I number close them I sometimes make a joke and say, "So do you always give your number to guys whose names you don't know?" They laugh and finally ask my name.

WITHOUT A DOUBT, the girls that always show interest by asking me the same questions that I have asked them or by asking questions that they want to ask are the ones that I end up seeing again and usually f-clozing.

Some girls are real bitches. As soon as I drop a casual personal question in there they just freeze up. Some girls who are super bitches will walk away as soon as I ask a personal question.

I am still working on this part of my game, though. I am still trying to solve the puzzle on how to elicit interest. You are right, asking the girl questions does open the door for her to ask me questions back and it does let her know in an indirect way that I am interested in her. If she is open to answering the questions I know I have just gotten a few millimeters closer to her underpants.

I had a very interesting experience today in a new technique I tried to get the girl to elicit interest. I will talk about it in my June 22 field report.

June 20

What started out as a low motivation day turned into a fucking awesome day. After work I was tired. I went shopping downtown near the site I had worked at. As I was walking back to my motorcycle I realized that an HB10 I had number clozed from work was walking in front of me. This is the girl I number clozed while I had a big buggar hanging out of my nose. What happened was that we exchanged emails a few times and then she stopped. I just sighed and let that one go. There was nothing I could do to erase the buggar face image from her mind.

So she's walking in front of me and I tap her on the shoulder. She gives me a huge smile and says, "Sorry, I didn't text you back. My phone got messed up." Whatever, probably an excuse I was thinking. So we start talking. I ask her if she wants to go the pier with me. We hop on my motorcycle and head down to the pier. I get instant kino from her wrapping her arms around me on the motorcycle. We walk around the pier and sit down and start talking. Her body language is 100% positive. She's sitting close to me, leaning into me, smiling, brushing her hair out of her face from time to time. God damn this girl is so fine. She's wearing a pink bra under a tight white t-shirt wrapped around her perfect HB10 body. She's 19. I'm 35.

Any other girl and I would have kiss closed her there, but I was too worried about fucking up. I really had to be careful in this situation. We work at the same site, although employed by different companies. If I were to do the "wrong" thing I could easily lose my job.

We walk around for a bit. The sexual tension is just bursting. I give up on the kiss close. It's just too risky since she is a co-worker. She gets on my bike and I take her to the train station. I'm feeling tired after work, but I know I have to put in the street time if I want to get results later. My goal for the day is 2 number closes. I am focusing on quality number closes over quantity.

Approach one girl. She's very cute, a little bit friendly, but just too guarded. She negs me at the number close.

I walking in the shopping arcade. Soon after a tall, model like girl with a unique face is coming my way. She's wearing a headset. I stop girls with headsets on all the time. It's not big deal. You just have to walk into their foward line and put your palm out to make the stop gesture. I use my SD opener. The girl is total ice. She's not smiling or giving me any IOI's. I'm seriously thinking of just bailing by saying thank you and walking away. However, she's complying to the "task" that my SD Opener gives. I go with it. Slowly, her ice starts to melt. She returns some of the personal questions that I ask her. She starts smiling a little bit. I even joke about her cold aura. She loosens up even more and starts smiling more. What I had thought was going to be another cold bitch turns out to be a pretty cool chick. She's half Korean and I number close her with ease after chipping through the ice. I wish I could do that to all the ice queens I come accross.

After that I get another rejection. The girl just wasn't feeling it on any level. It behooves me how I can get that "in" feeling with some girls while others just stay aloof and cold. The next girl I approach is half Indian/Japanese. She's tall and sexy and I eventually close her.

Here's a tip for you guys. What happens often is that in the middle of my set the girl will call her friend (to get info that I've asked for as part of the SD Opener) or she'll get a phone call from someone. Instead of standing there like a dweeb I wait a few seconds. I then pretend that I am getting a call. I start jabbering away. I then WALK AWAY. I walk away about 15 or 20 feet and I turn my back to the girl occassionally turning to the side and checking out of the corner of my eye to see what she is doing. Basically it's a compliance test and a test and a DHV spike (by showing her that I am willing to walk away and that I've got important calls to handle). The reason I walk away and stand far away is that I want her to walk over to where I am. I want her to comply to my unsaid command. This is the beginning of "taming" the girl and showing her that I am the leader. As she starts walking towards me I end the call. Now SHE is approaching me.

--After reading about direct openers last night I give it a shot as I'm walking to the gym. There's an ice young HB8 walking towards me. I stand in her path, hold up the stop sign with my palm out. I say, "Hey, do you know you're way around her?" She says, "Yeah, why?" I say, "No reason, I just though you were cute so I stopped you." I then start with personal questions. It was all shit my friends. I gave it all up at "You're cute". Yeah, she was flirtatious and her face lit up when I said it, but with that one compliment I gave away all my power. Had I not complimentd her I'm pretty sure I could have number closed her. She shut me down hard and fast when I attempted the number close.

--I pick a girl up on the way the gym. She's carrying some kind of martial arts weapon. I use that to open her. I find out she's a med student. I don't like picking up med students. They think they are God's children. Doctors and nurses are easier to f-close than med students in my experience. I number close her, but it's not solid. I learned that a kendo fighting stick is called a Shinai.

--After my workout I'm walking home and see a cute girl on her bicycle waiting to cross a busy intersection. She's waiting for the light to turn green. This is a game I like to do. It's another compliance test. I like to make the girl comply and NOT cross the street when the light turns green. So I went up to this girl and asked her a question about some slang words in Japanese. Turns out she didn't know because she was a Chinese exchange student. Since she was an exchange student I changed my approach. I could relate to her a lot since I am also a foreigner here. However, after a bit I just felt like I was working too hard to keep the conversation going.

Something I've been thinking about a lot recently is how to get women to elicit interest in you. The biggest IOI a woman can give you in street pick-up is when she stars asking you personal questions about yourself. With this Chinese girl I could feel myself working too hard for it. I'm not a fucking interviewer or a question robot. So I tried something I've never tried before. I just shut the fuck up an said in a totally non-chalant way, "Okay, go. Ask me questions." Her face just lit up with the most curious expression. It was amazing! I then said while looking at my watch, "Go! I have an appointment to get to so hurry up with your questions. Actually, I have to get going so you can only ask one question." She then said, "Why???" I replied, "So you can practice Japanese. Go. Ask." She smiled and asked me, "Uh, okay, so are you an exchange student too?"

Guys, this totally turned the whole mood of my set around. It went from being a boring question robot approach to totally rearranging her reality. In an instant I went from being the "pursuer" to being the "pursued". I went from shoe shiner to patron. After that the number close was effortless.

Tips:
--She says she's married, I say I'm married. Neutralize her defense.
--She says she doesn't have her cell phone with her (Here in Japan we usually give numbers/email addresses, etc by sending infra-red between phones). I give her my phone and say, "Here, put your number in there".

Approached a girl with a big long bag. Just started a conversation off of that. She was asking me a lot of questions as well. I was getting IOI's. She was going to play golf and was waiting for the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus showed up before I could get her number. I was pissed!!!

My street game is expanding. The secret is to look at the girl, find something to comment on. Start casual conversation, expand from there. Throw in jokes and be flirtatious. Wait for her to start asking YOU questions. How does she react? Is she open to this interaction? Is she cold and guarded. Gauge her reaction and decide wheather to cut it short and bail or continue for number close.

Had the day off. Went out in the evening to do street pick-up.

Here's a new opener that's been working well for me. Since I do it in Japanese and it is location specific I will convert to a situation you can understand.

I grew up in California, but I went to college in Tennessee. In Tennessee there were many local expressions and words that we never use in California. Here is how I would do the opener in English if I were in Tennessee:

Me: Hey, I have another buddy living here who is from California just like me. He was asking me, "Why do people in Tennessee use the word "fire" so much? For example, they say, 'I was eatin' the fire out of them nuts'". My friend asked me, "What exactly does that mean? 'To eat the fire out of something?'"

Her: (Smiling). Uh, okay, well, I think it means to eat a lot of something and to eat it quickly.

Me: Hmmm, okay, well, I'm from California too and my friend was asking me how to use that word, but since I'm not from around here I really don't know if I can give him the right answer. So for example, could I say, "I was eatin' the fire out of that salad" or "I was drinking the fire out of that coffee?"

Her: (laughing) Uh, I guess so. It doesn't quite sound right, but....

Me: Well, since I am not a native speaker and you are fluent in Tennesse dialect, could you give me a few examples of how to use the word "fire"?

Her: (gives some examples)

Me: (analyze the examples. Repeat them. Try to define them and understand them and check with her to make sure you got it right)

Me: Cool. So, like, how did you learn how to use all these strange Tennesse idioms?

Her: (explains)

From here just start asking personal questions, flirt, banter. If she's interested she will ask you personal questions. Build comfort, rapport. Then, when you're ready to number close.

Me: Well, cool, sorry, I've gotta go meet a friend right now. Not sure if I got this whole "fire" thing down. If I have another question about it.... (now reach into your pocket to grab your cell phone). Here, put your number in there
