The bad:
I am transferring schools next year, and figured that if she shoots me down, then its like sarging in everyday life, just move on, you'll probably never see her again, thus I ended up sending her a message.
The good:
Turns out she was thinking about me the whole rest of the weekend, and she gave me her number.
I did have to take a hit and possibly DLV'd myself, but I guess is what I learned from this, is don't always let the rules of "pickup game" stop you from taking risks you might not normally endure.
Sometimes you have to write your rules, your own guide, and test them ouT and see how it works and plays out. I figure that even in this instance, coming off initially as an AFC by facebooking her ended up being better than if I hadn't ever messaged her at all.... at least I can work my way up now, where as before, I would have never known.
soo true. these rules aren't written in stone. if you can calibrate the interest and know that it wont be weird to take such a risk, do it
