Hey guys,

Been awhile since last posting here. I was at a huge party last night and ended up dancing with this girl for about an hour. I thought if I wanted this to go anywhere I better start doing something, so during a song break, I put my hand out(signaling for her to grab it), and walked her outside to get some water with me. We talked for a bit, and then her friends spotted her (unfortunately).

They wanted to go but she wanted to stay, and of course I wanted her to stay, but in effort to not seem needy, I told her she should go with her friends, and that I should catch up with my bros anyways (I figured they wouldnt' leave for awhile), well anyways, she left. I should have number-closed, but in all honesty I was a bit buzzed and it didn't really occur to me until after she left. She goes to a neighboring college that is literally two blocks away from my University, and plays Volleyball. Just to do a little research, I went and looked her up on facebook. She's gorgeous.

I have two options:

1) Let her be, and accept the fact that I should be smarter next time and get her number

or

2) Send her a message saying I didn't get a chance to grab your number, etc etc or something a long those lines....

Problem being, is that if I go with option two, she'd know I facebook stalked her to find her, and that would come off as a HUGE DLV. It's a risk, but I figure I might never see her again, so who cares if I fail, right?

What do you guys think? I can't get this girl off of my mind for some reason...

I'll give you my brutally honest answer:
Put her on the back burner and move the fuck on! If you run into her again then great. Pickup where you left off.

Don't hit her up on facebook. You'll seem like a desperate weirdo (which you seem to already be aware of).

Lastly... learn from your mistakes. She wanted to stay, so by all means let her stay.

I know it sucks to fuck up with a gorgeous girl but don't let that drag you down to AFC status. Chances are you'll see her at a bar or something again anyway.

I did end up doing something good, and something bad.

The bad:

I am transferring schools next year, and figured that if she shoots me down, then its like sarging in everyday life, just move on, you'll probably never see her again, thus I ended up sending her a message.

The good:

Turns out she was thinking about me the whole rest of the weekend, and she gave me her number.

I did have to take a hit and possibly DLV'd myself, but I guess is what I learned from this, is don't always let the rules of "pickup game" stop you from taking risks you might not normally endure.

Sometimes you have to write your rules, your own guide, and test them ouT and see how it works and plays out. I figure that even in this instance, coming off initially as an AFC by facebooking her ended up being better than if I hadn't ever messaged her at all.... at least I can work my way up now, where as before, I would have never known.

You definantly gave good advice, and if it wasn't the case that she went to another school, and that she wasnt' in my social group, I wouldnt' have even dreamed of it as obviously girls talk, and if I got a bad reaction her friends would hear about how I "creaped" on her, but I figured I would just sack up and try my best, and if all else fails, i'll never see her again most likely!
