I see what you guys are getting at, however it still confuses me, do i qaulify myself or disqualify them.
Well normally you dont speak of disqualifying them, but rather disqualifying yourself.
A neg is normally used to disqualify yourself initially on opening. eg. 'cute dress....a liiiittle outdated for my liking but cute nonetheless.'. You have disqualified yourself as no guy that is interested in her would ever make an 'honest' judgement like that. an AFC would go on and on about how hot she looks and how awesome her dress is. Thats just too easy for her...wheres the challenge!
Another reason for disqualification is to send mixed messages to keep her guessing. if a girl ever hints that im coming onto her or trying to pick her up...i immediately say 'ah dont worry about that sweetie, kissing you would be like kissing my sister'....and then carry on teasing and flirting with them. You want them to be wondering if you were being serious or not. at the same time you want to convey you are sexually interested, but have them wonder about it.
Qualifying yourself serves a completely different purpose, this is basically DHVing.
