There is small percentage of girls who don't care about the looks, but with world-wide obsession with good-looking A-list celebrities, average-looking guys just don't stand a chance.
It's like Special Olympics. Disabled people might really impress with their will and abilities, but they are never ever going to play in NBA.
Just like that - if you do not have superstar looks you will always face rejection and prejudice now and then, you will always lose time after time when there is competition. One thing you can do - get over it, face the reality, hope for the best and at least it won't hurt you inside.

Do looks count I guess is the question. Yes is the answer but it's not that simple. If you are a AFC4 and go after an HB10 we all know you have ZERO chance. If you are a PUA4 and go after an HB10 well if your game is strong you could take her home. So don't knock the game because of your looks. It works. But if nature hasn't gifted you with good looks you just have to work harder at it.

So, looks count but in the end if you fail it's because you game was lacking.

You can't compare disabled people to bad looking guys.
Looks will only matter if you dont have 100% belief that looks dont matter. Sure theres a small percentage ( near 0.00001%) of girls who wont date you because youre not attractive. Social conditioning is holding you back and it makes you insecure.
Seriously stop blaming looks and fix your game.

I remember seeing an advertisement of some book written by a man called Joseph Matthews, I think.

Well, this guy was genuinly disgusting - fat, bald, had spots all over his face and a really weird goatee. He posted videos on his website promoting his product, where he had slide-show with him embracing random HBs and naming all of them his ex's.

Well, even girls' body language and facial expressions said, that they weren't too excited by his presence.

And even for a hetero like me it looked plain disgusting. There is no way, that a girl with proper self-esteem could date this fellow.

And in London i've NEVER seen a looks difference greater than 2 (e.g., guy is 6, girl . And I do go out often. I've only seen ugly guy/HB couples in posh clubs, but it's not rocket science that these girls were either turned on by guy's wallet or were plain escorts.

I do not want to sound harsh or bitter or anything, but thread starter's point is that PUA lies a lot to make money from desperate guys by telling them 'Beauty & The Beast' fairy-tale.

Looks dont matter.

You have to dress somewhat savvy and fun, you have to have a edge to you, even if its basic! But looks dont matter.

It matters if a guy is short, but thats overcome with decent conversation. Also if the guy is asian the girl may have reservations, but again you can overcome that with talking in no time.

Its not like we all get a perfect route man, I model for a living and sometimes my looks works against me, as the girl wants to be the pretty one! so when i meet women which are not stunning, i end up having to deal with their perceptions on how drop dead gorgeous guys are one night standers, and basic flirts and are not good for marriage... so they should be avoided.

We all deal with something, and thats fine! Welcome to life now kindly stop this ridicules thread on looks. Its making people more self conscious for nothing! If you dont go out and you dont meet women, then you can think a million things are wrong.
