probably a DLV. cause firstly you`ll come off as ure in the need for a rebound and secondly, for such personal stuff as in whether u`d take ur gf back, its way too individual and private to be asked as an opener to an unknown group.thats my opinion. u shld field test it and let me know.

DLV - i wouldn't use that opener..

a) your girlfriend cheated on you in that story... so the group your chatting up may think, why did she cheat on him (other than being drunk)

b) that insinuates that you didnt have much control over your previous girlfriend

c) the fact your considering getting back with her in the story means you are probably a push over

you need to demonstrate confidence... also - you are opening a group with a target... that target is going to be more reluctant to get involved with you if you have a back-story that is complicated.

kk, what would be a few good ones to use at my age? (15 yrs old)

if your gaming in school the only DHV you will ever need is your friends, have some friends from every group and your gold. also if you have friends from all the groups expect to have to make time for yourself.

P.s. join a sport your value with go up 100 fold in HS.

I think that opener might actually work if it's modified a little. Try making it instead about your best friend, roomate, brother, sister, or anyone else who might come to you with a problem. Then if you ask their opinion on it it's not because you're having relationship issues but because you have someone close to you dealing with a complicated problem.

I think this would also work twofold because it adds a third party which can be comforting to girls being approached by strangers.

I think you can just go along with 'does this t-shirt make me look gay?'

Yea definently a DLV story because it shows that you got cheated on and that your still thinking about your ex girlfriend and basically you are just trying to talk about getting back together with your ex which is not a good thing when talking to your target.

People forget that the words don't matter. It's the emotion they illicit that matters.

1. Does it illicit that you're fun?
2. Does it illicit that you're confident?
3. Does it illicit that you have value (leader, preselected, protector, willing to emote)?

You should definitley modify that to your best friend, because what your sayingis fine infact it is a good subject, it gages an opinion from whoever your opening, and would be a fun and interesting opener. It DLV's you personally if it applies to you, it is an interesting topic to get started on if it refers to your friend
