I was fucking dumbfounded. Never before has a girl ever said that to me and the first time where I felt pretty fucking lame. Thats when I realized canned openers are for n00bs. And the capacity in which the game has reached. This shit is global and orig. material is necessity.

Just today I was wondering...what do you do if you use what you thought was an original opener and they end up saying they've already heard that one. Damn.

Haha, i had the same thing happen to me, but i was walkin when i opened with the 'is kissing cheatin' opener, and some girl on a bench screamed yeah its cheatingggggg

Appearantly my mate opened here the same night ahah

I'd say "well, no i was gonna say you're best friends if you are comfortable making out in front of me right now but the shampoo idea sounds better, lets do that" or something along them lines.

Think of it as a great lesson and learning experience. These magic tricks and pick up lines only work because they contain the ingredients that girls find in interesting conversation. Girls love little challenges.... that's why the "best friends test" is such a good conversation piece. It's not that big of a surprise that they've heard it before. It was, after all, written about in Strauss' book which sold millions of copies.

I would suggest tweeking every canned line that you know to fit your style and be totally original. After a while they won't even be lines... You'll just be a cool, interesting guy that women love being around.

For instance:

"You two are totally best friends, aren't you?!"
"Yeah, how'd you know?!"
"I can tell from the way she (neg target) mimmicks your body language. I learned a little about it in a psych class I took in college."

You can really change all of these canned lines around quite a bit to sound natural and be just as interesting.

A better way of doing the whole best friends thing is to ask them both for the time.

Depending on whether one or both of them have the time, and whether they both have the exact same time, you can neg on their friendship or lack-of. Or if they both give a different time you can choose to believe the obstacle as a neg to the target.

Best thing to do would be to laugh it off.

For example, last Saturday night I opened up with my wing, a hard 3 set using an opinion opener and and one of the girls (the hottest of the 3) said, "Oh leave us alone and go bother someone else!"

I just laughed at her, leaned back and said, "Ahhh, that's not an answer!" smiling at her. At that moment she warmed up on us and we were there having a conversation with all 3.

So sometimes they may seem bitchy but either it is a result of their bitch shield or a shit test. Don't let it seem to bother you and you can be sure 95% of the time you will see a different side (the good side) to her, or she will at least start warming up.

Remember mate: Bitchy words from women target an AFC like a bullet in the heart. Bitchy words from women target a PuA like a tickle.
