It happens to all of us. There is something known as a 'J Curve', which basically says that you will platuea from time to time. You have certain things that hold you back, known as 'Sticking Points' and these are what cause you to platuea, so when you hit one, you need to figure out what it is that you are stuck on, then why you are stuck on it and how to overcome it to progress.

I hit a couple snags through my transformation from AFC to PUA. Some lasted mere minutes and some lasted for months. I've had many moments where I asked myself whether I would make it, whether I had hit the final roadblock and there was no hope of moving forward and whether I should just give up and accept my fate of continuing to be an AFC for all time. I don't think this is at all uncommon, but what seperates the PUAs from the AFCs isn't whether they can pick a girl up, but whether they have the courage to continue and make the hard changes and revelations that it takes to progress.

It won't be easy, I can promise that. But if you want it, then you will continue to push your limits and you will achieve your goals, whatever they are.

If you are stalling on points in your game, then you need to adjust what you are doing. Try a different approach or several approaches in the area you are stalling at and see if it does the trick. Sometimes things like this can mess with your confidence and that is where you go wrong, you'll be confident until you get to that point and in the back of your mind it'll be like "ok, this is where i screw up at" which leads to you screwing up.

I've felt slightly the same but I'm not worried about it yet because I know I'm not pushing myself as hard as I could or really leaving my comfort zone yet. Just have to keep progressing and know that when you look back on it you'll feel like you've accomplished something.

Don't give up man. It can easily take 6 months of rejection to get your game working.

I have had a sticking point that really held me back for about a month. I really thought it was the end. I was to the point where i did not think that trasformation to PUA was ever going to be possible. I then wrote a mentor of mine an e-mail explaining my sticking point and he wrote me back a few days later. That e-mail is what it took to get me back in it. I feel better than ever about my game.

It really sucks when you get to the point where it doesnt seem like you are getting any better. Where the begining or middle stages of your transformation just don't seem as fun as they ever were. Sometimes it may even seem more upsetting than fun. That is when I personally think you need to step up your game. Analyze what is going on in your sets. Find the points that you're sticking on. Fix those points either by testing your own methods or better yet ask a more accomplished PUA either in here or anyone else you may know. Dig through the thousands of pages of material on this website and others.

I am sure if you do all of that you will find your way to getting better.

I am also pretty sure that every accomplished well known or not have been at this point before. You just have to stick with it and get better.

Sometimes it's like growing your hair long. Day to day there seems to be no difference, which may be discouraging at times, but it's a gradual change. Once you do this stuff or about half a year or a year, look back to when you first started off and be proud of your accomplishments in your path to self-improvement. Then, keep moving forward.
