All you have to do is shut down your personality and don't interact with the person. Reply with one word sentences and that type of thing. Definitely don't laugh or smile at anything he says. Don't tell him you have a boyfriend. Don't tell him anything whatsoever about yourself.
Thanks for your reply bluemoon!!
So in other words, be a bitch?
I have tried that before and it actually ended pretty badly. The guy trying to pick me up started becoming really agressive and pinned me to the wall of the club. He was much bigger than me so my friend had to run and get the security.
I just want something that will still seem polite-ish to avoid these sort of crazy outbursts.
Any ideas?
Alright, the chances of this actually happening are minimal.
I suggest you do the exact same thing - only this time, be a bitch in a nicer way.
"That's really sweet of you, but I have a boyfriend. It was nice meeting you though."
The last part clearly says "Nice try, but go away now." If persistence calls in (btw, the guys you met clearly don't know the good meaning of persistence. They were just needy), then start acting colder like before.
... And I wouldn't worry so much about another guy attacking you. Clearly, he had attention issues and his daddy didn't hug him when he was a kid.
