I have never really thought about it until last night. One girl i knew from college offered to buy me a shot. Many thoughts went through my head "is this emasculating" no shutup. "is she expecting some loving" maybe.

"is this how it feels to be on the other end of the stick. Kinda feels like prostitution" cool.

It was a funny feeling. I think at one point one of her friends asked her if she was okay  . I don't think people are used to seeing a woman pull out her wallet and buy a man something. The fact that her friend checked in on her (while smacking her butt mind you) and asked if she was fine was priceless.

ImageThis is how I feel. I even feel that way when they offer. It's a sign that a woman doesn't feel entitled.

I thought you'd say a woman bought you a fancy watch or something.
No, I don't think it is weird. I've paid for a date before, bought a man a drink before. Once in a life time instances but it happened. But there is a limit.

One time, a date offered to drive to a place one hour away. Well, lo and behold, I ended filling his tank up 'cause oh he just noticed it was empty, tolls, and the show (he claimed he had paid online but once we got there had to pay upfront). No jokes. He said he had left his wallet home. Didn't apologize nor thank me. A week later, he messages me to go out. I tell him politely I am not interested. He asks why. I tell him straight up. He gets all defensive and writes back oh but I used my car to drive you to the city, that's enough repayment.

As my relationships get closer, the girls get more generous. My girlfriends gave me with gifts. I got a Samsung tablet the last relationship. That was fun. The relationship before that, I got a Xbox. So it happens.

I am trying to understand why it would be a once in a lifetime instance. I think it's a great that women are taking out their wallets and treating the man for a change.

There is a difference between a first date and a relationship. What this dude did would turn off 99.99% of women.

There is a difference. Like I said as time goes on, as more sex sessions are put in place. The more giving a girl becomes.

I'm not defending that guy. Sounds irresponsible to me. That kind of behavior happens to guys all the time however. Unfortunately they don't get turned off and think they have to try even harder. It's a sad cycle
