1st day I told her she looked nice
2nd day I added her on social media
3rd day I told her I liked her, she said we would have to go out for drinks sometime

I remained silent for 2 days

She said "I'm just being nice I wasn't trying for you to like me I'm nice to everyone. So I was kinda giving you the cold shoulder to let you know i'm not looking for anything."

I said "yeah i'm not looking for anything either

Working is bad and she said she's seeing somebody else

My guess is just to remain cold

I guess my general question is what do you do when girl(s) say "I'm not looking for anything"/LJBF

Rewind a bit...Day 3 was your biggest mistake. Saying that you like her is showing your cards to early. In truth, you added her to social media a little too early as well. Other than that...I can't tell if you are flirting with the girl or not, but from what you've said, you've been antiseductive.

In this situation, you don't try to recover. Just be friendly and normal then just move on. No need to be cold and make anyone uncomfortable.
