hey guys, I'm half way between AFC and PUA but I have one HUGE thing working against me.
I can't dance except for waltz (I know...LAME).

My question is, how have you guys(if you have) gotten a girl to teach you to dance while you're out? any tips on getting her to teach me without looking like I'm losing my qualifiers or status?

any tips would be awesome, I really want to learn to dance. I made the mistake when I was younger and learned to play steel guitar(lap top guitar where you sit, not good for dancing) instead of learning to dance.

Why do you need a girl to teach you how to dance? It seems like you're trying to hack your way into meeting girls indirectly

If you Really wanna learn how to dance, you can simply just watch YouTube tutorials and self teAch yourself

Dancefloor is my fav way to meet women but I wouldn't say I'm a good dancer, what I am good at is dance game. It doesn't need to be be an impressive master piece ball room performance, it's more about having fun and getting close to her and escalating.

There is also dance game tutorials on YouTube too. Learn how to to dance at home, then go to the club and practise on the girls. You don't NEED to get girls to teach YOU

that's sound advice guys, and I appreciate it.
the main reason I want a girl to teach me is yes, it's a great indirect game. but also, it allows her the opportunity to invest her time in me also and gives me an advantage of being in her mind.

also, women are great at dancing sexy and I want to experiment on bringing that out. I've already been checking out the youtube videos and got a few dance lessons on dvd to get started.

Girls are horrid dancers lol, they have too many handbags and drinks for it be effective, you can pretty much just ask her, 'Show me your moves' but if you think this will enable her to escalate in you then you could be barking up the wrong tree.

Also, I think the value dynamics change when a girl is in teach mode and you're in student mode. It doesn't create an attractive dynamic in my most cases.

thanks man, that summed it up for me. teach mode and student mode, that makes perfect sense. I'll shoot for learning on my own for now, and once I get a rhythm, I'll try out some of the things other people are doing that I think looks good. I'll get there eventually, trial and error is always the best way!

Why not just attend a dance class?

If you're desire to learn to dance is genuine, you don't need to go to a social gathering to learn. You'll go to the place where its taught.

it's not that I'm not willing to move, I have and came back. I stay because my grandfather has cancer, my family is here, and my daughter is here. It's a choice to be here to help out my family, especially my grandfather. He raised me, it's the least I can do for him.

But, let me slap you in the face with the long dick of Mr. Reality...

You live in Buttfuck, Indiana. Your selection of girls you are going to find attractive is going to be very, very limited. A woman who's attractive most likely won't live somewhere like that. She's hot. She can live a better life than that.

Being a "good person" and taking care of your grandpa will not cause women to fall into your lap. Nor will you most likely be able to fulfill your "ideal dating life" by executing a few "pick up routines" and your local Chili's.

I don't know what type of dating life you're trying to have.... but living in a small ass town in Southern Indiana is most likely not the ideal place to build it. I suggest you move as well.

I completely agree with you all, I really do. I think that I've come up with a plan until I am able to move out of this hick town. I'm only 1 1/2 to 2 hours from several large cities, e.g. indianapolis, champagne, bloomington, evansville, etc. I'm going to start spreading out as much as possible and visiting these cities to expand my game and awareness.
I really appreciate you guys being straight with me, some people beat around the bush and others cut through the excuses to expose the truths. and you guys have really opened my eyes.
