If a man that has never shot a basketball a day in his life came up to me and said " Hey man, I need help. I have a basketball competition on friday and I have to play Micheal Jodran! I have to win this game man. I want to be a great shooter, a good dribble and a tight defender. How do I win?"
What could I tell him?
This is what you're saying when you - A guy thats never been too confident - is trying to get with a girl who both friend zoned him and is currently taken. Thats two strikes against you. You're driving behind her on a one way street asking how do you get ahead. And you have no prior driving skills before this moment..
This is where you have to be realistic man. I'm not saying not to try, because you have to try. This is what is going to build your confidence for the future. You go give micheal Jordan your best shot and take the lessons you learn from the experience to make you a better player. But you can't realistic expect to win the game man.
You have to be willing to lose the girl to get her. This is going to take months if not a couple years of building your confidence and self esteem to the level that will prepare you for such a battle.
Go out there and begin training. Do the newbie mission and come back for the novice mission. The sooner you get to work the greater your chances will be, but theres no direct advice you can be given at this level that you will successfully be able to execute.
I am willing to do all it takes honestly.
if i will lose this game against Jordan, i can always train and train and come back and outplay him.
I want to Improve, because i want a better life, im tired of being sad over something like this, i rather face these tasks and learn from them and use them in the future to get what i want, it wont be easy, but im willing to try. thank you for the great advice
