Basically I'm dancing in a circle with some people, target next to me. Then my friend cuts in between me and my target. Sure enough, they start flirting (although it didn't develop). My question is, what do I do when someone cuts in between me and my target, especially if they're gonna start gaming her? Is there a natural way to take my place next to her back? And is there a way of avoiding someone cutting in in the first place?
Cheers for your help

Tighten the circle for one. If you're in a neutral side by side position of-course it's easier for someone else to cut in. Angle your body towards her. Even have your arm touching her. At that point you're locked in and only a complete asshole will interfere.
