So lately I've been going a bit of a rut. I understand it happens to everyone, so I'm not too worried about it.

Anyways I've been thinking of ways to improve and I've been thinking about the physical part..

So I'm about 20lbs overweight, its not too bad. Some people look ok being slightly overweight, my problem is my face is the first thing to get fat. I know I need to get into shape...

But I'm worried HBs will only like me for my body and not me. I wanna pick up girls being overweight just to see if I can. But this way of thinking doesn't seem right.

I want a fit girl though lol....

Guess I'm just looking for some other point of views on the matter. Maybe I should just get fit.

Anyone notice any big difference when getting a good body or is it all game?

There's a difference. Period. I lost 50-60 lbs a few years back and noticed a good increase in the number of girls that would respond to me more positively, be more willing to get into a conversation with me, and the number of girls that would open me. I'm not saying I get girls throwing themselves at me, but it's easier.

The way I look at it, I'm into fit girls because they're hot and I like that look, but also because I don't want a girl who sits around the house being lazy all day. I know that's a stereotype, but it's a bit true. Chubby girls are more likely to get off work and crash on the couch and watch tv with their spare time. I'm not into that. So it's a way for me to superficially pick out the girls that I'm attracted to and girls that I have more in common with.

I'd bet that for girls it's the same thing. A more in shape guy will be more attractive, but also will be more active and more motivated, and more confident etc. It's not just the body, it's the full package that can come with it.

When I got out of my relationship and fully embraced pick up again I got a lot of positive results from my attitude alone. I was k-closing left, right and center and getting numbers with no real problem. I got so many numbers I just stopped n-closing altogether because it was too easy, it didn't feel like an accomplishment and I had no intention of seeking day 2s with these women. I kept it up but got in a rut for about a month or two then started losing weight.

The rut got me down. I went from an all high to an all low so I started getting in shape, working out at home, losing weight and all that shit. I didn't notice any difference in how people seen me and didn't approach while doing this but one day I went out in just a t-shirt and basically got complimented being told I looked "built." Since then I just went out in t-shirts even though I, personally, think I could stand to lose a bit more weight. The confidence I got from people noticing the change perked me up, gave me more confidence and got me back into the swing of things. From the confidence I stopped shying away from women checking me out, doubting myself and started acting on it.

I guess what i'm saying is you can do it both ways. For me it was the confidence and the drive to take on pick up in the beginning that got me women. When I lacked the confidence and worked out I started to build up more confidence and acted on it. So, i've scored women while overweight and at a normal BMI. I believe it's mostly down to your confidence with the only real benefit to being attractive is your approach and initial attraction from a woman.

I think it's all in our head. I'm a skinny guy in general and can eat whatever I want. Unfortunately, I can't put on any fat whatsoever. I started working out and 15 pounds of muscle and girl compliment me from time to time so I know I'm on the right track. I though about it recently and does it really make a difference? I like my body to look good and going from skinny to fit probably had a bigger impact on my confidence than it actually had on how girls see me.

Being fit helps.

Here's the deal:
Confidence, charisma and personality will win you the day (almost) every single day. And I mean almost , because like it or not if you don't look pleasing , you won't always get the chance to unleash that charisma.

The rest is a very simple equation. The better you look , the less you have to work.Period. Out of 2 people of equal game , the physically attractive one wins. Every.Single.Time.

My advice , work on both aspects. Either one is significantly less effective without the other.
As someone else perfectly put it , it's not just black or white. It's the entire package.

So ur afraid to get fit, because u think HBs will only like you for ur body ? I'm sorry bud but that's how attraction works. U have to attract first so u GET the chance for the girl to like u. No girl will stay with u only if u got abs. And for me, keeping fit is a must, it boosts my game tremendously.

Yes getting a hot body is very important. Would you date a girl that was 10lbs overweight? What about 20? Extend that to whatever your cut-off point is.
Don't fall into the trap that PUA is everything. Get money, good looks, and PUA methods, and you're unstoppable. A hot body will make your PUA a lot more effective. If you've reached a good level in PUA, then your time is better spent getting a hotter body. It's a more effective use of your time.
