Ok back story is known my friends niece for probably 6 years, in that time probably only hung out a dozen times. She throws out that she met some cool out of state guys playing pool yesterday, I also mentioned it's St. Patrick's day what are her plans (I already have plans) what's she doing she said she already has it planned going out getting wasted & she loves Irish guys and she might not be single after this weekend. I'm not Irish. lol -

I just brushed off/ignored that and made fun of how horrible she is at pool, didn't acknowledge or say anything about the guys commments.

Is she saying this to see what my reaction will be? Because after we keep talking and she invited me over for a drink before she headed out, and also invited me out to brunch tomorrow.
