But when I finally have a woman alone I can't simply say "I want your number", Come over to my place", I basically cant escalate, "making the move". I can but not consistently.
I don't have anyone to blame for but myself. I just don't understand why I feel like I am "drowning". I want to really badly to make a move but it's like I open my mouth and I am stuck motionless, it's to the point where it overrides my logical side of the brain.
I was talking to this woman: She made obvious hints she wanted to go drink with me, she showed IOI, she showed everything that said "I want to party and fuck" and instead of simply saying "Hey I don't have anything to do tonight, let's go to a bar" I said "Yeah I need to go now" and I cowered away. I got in my car and was immediately furious with myself. I blew such an easy, obvious opportunity. I saw the girl walk away towards her car and she was obviously upset and confused.
Can anyone help me understand, relate? I'm sick and freaking tired of failing. I am sick and tired of not showing constant progress.
I don't know if this matters but I got rid of an ex I was talking to that was messing up my feelings.
I just dont know.

Eventually asking the girl for her number will feel natural... with practice. Why not game girls you are not so attracted to and build confidence that way. In time you'll be 100% comfortable hearing those words come out your mouth and she'll feel at ease with your confidence.
