when girls take your hat in bars or clubs are they flirting.I know escalate and find out etc but just curios.This one guy did try to take my hat but it is gay ski week and he didnt manage to take it maybe he was just pointing or whatever unlike girls who manage to take it.

This annoys the piss out of me and my only solution would be is to avoid hats. I just think it's disrespectful and I just feel my value plummet when I'm chasing around some drunk bimbo trying to retrieved my flat cap hat.

So in my experience. It isn't flirting. They are tooling you. You will get more man points by addressing her behaviour and stand up for yourself.

I've had some cases where I would approach, get rejected but she will still launch my £60 hat across the club onto a sticky floor... If she is asking you to play with it and is also interacting with you respectfully, that could be flirting .

If, she has thrown it and is walking away from me... That is no way flirting at all, a drink throw in her face is just as justified. It's just disrespectful just to behave like that. They wouldn't do that in the daytime.

They're either flirting on they don't respect you, and this can sorta go for guys as well.

However, assuming attraction is about not waiting to see why they did it, its about assuming and being assertive and treating them as if they're flirting in order to figure out whether or not they actually are.

I don't make a habit out of wearing hats, but whenever I did I got approached in the context of "Can I wear/see/have/touch/look at it?".

It's no doubt disrespectful in the cases you've described. I just can't picture that happening unless it's as you've said, some drunk bimbo.
