This is a question to everybody.

When a random person acts inproperly (e.g. being an arrogant jerk) it's easy to forgive him and it won't bother me too much. I understand that people are not perfect and everybody got flaws including me.

However, for me the situation is different if its my close friend or a relative. I understand that its just a way he is and I can't change it. But when I see him do things that I don't like it really gets me frustrated, I lose my mind for a moment and anger overcomes me. I need to force myself to forgive him.

Its like love changes to hate in matter of seconds and vica verca.

Please share your thoughts and experiences within similar situations.

I know what you mean.

Two people in this whole world can make me feel that way:
1) My ex, who is no longer a part of my life.
2) My mother (lol), with whom I now keep a little bit of distance when communicating.

I find that taking a step back, and keeping the person at a slight distance works for me (even if it's for a little while). Although it's probably not the best solution.

I suggest you think about things you can control. These things you mention are not in your power to control. The only thing you really can do is confront the person and tell them how it makes you feel. If they don't change their act, well at least you know you tried influencing the situation.

This is all a matter of personal taste. Why should they change for you? What would you do if they told you things they didn't like about you?

During approaches I see a lot of times that my AFC friends join me and show really bad habits such as needyness, or just looking around not saying anything. If you have high self-esteem this doesn't affect you, you just ignore it. If you notice that the girls you're talking to are not amused by it, just tell your friends that you rather not have them in your presence at that moment.

If they don't listen to that, confront them for it. If they still don't listen, consider finding new relatives, because obviously they don't give a sh*t about your opinion.
