Abstain from porn, social media, and online dating. Someone people go as far as eliminating masturbation (no fap), which has its benefits but is not for everyone.

I can go into in the lengthy science and biology, but honestly the best way is to try for one's self. Give up the 4 above for a month.

1. You will have much more time and energy on your hands to go out and meet people.
2. Social Media and Online dating are all well and good for people that do not have social anxiety and have a vibrant social life. If you suffer from social anxiety then these platforms are more often a dopamine fix. They fool your brain into thinking you are making healthy/powerful social connections, so you will not feel as much need to interact with people when going out or going about your daily life. Also along with porn, the two above can create unrealistic expectations and an incongruent view of social interactions.
3. Constant and excessive sexual stimulation through porn, masturbation, social media, online dating is very detrimental to having norm/meaningful interactions with women. Woman can often sense when a man is using them solely to fulfill sexual and emotional needs rather than appreciate them.
4. When you are not all sexed up and constantly focused on women, then you are more inclined to have social interactions with others that are not just attractive females, which will open more doors for you in the future.

True. I simply chose one month as an arbitrary trial period. From what I gather, the opinion that porn detrimentally effects sex/dating is unanimous among people that are knowledgable on the subject. Opinions on masturbation seems to be spilt. Some experts advocate for complete abstinence, while others point out benefits of moderate masturbation. Be that as it may, masturbating every day or several times a week is excessive in my opinion, and thus is largely detrimental. Ultimately, I think that mastering sexual energy and redirecting posses many benefits, one of which is the alleviation of social anxiety.
