So, first of all I look forward to learning with you guys. Anyway, this girl came into my work today and showed some interest so I proceeded to flirt and run a few routines. She responded well to all of them and at the end I went to number close. Smiled and said ''hey, give me your number''. She laughed and said no while she was walking away. I didn't care, brushed it off and went back to what I was doing. Anyway, about 10 minutes late the beta cuck manager comes over asking me what happened because some girl was very unhappy because of something I did blah blah blah. He started whining about how bad it was and on and on.
My question, has anyone else been in a similar situation before? How did you handle it? Im still kind of pissed and honestly its hard to motivate myself to keep gaming after this. Not sure why im so effected by it. Had another situation about a year ago, worked somewhere else. Manager was encouraging me to go out with her friend who was my coworker. Asked her out, she agreed and the next day my manager(same one that told me to ask her out) was going off on me about how I shouldn't ask people out from work and that her friend feels uncomfortable. Mind you she also showed interest. Its not like im ugly either, ive been pretty decent with girls but these two incidents were weird. Anyone have any thoughts on why girls do this and how to suck it up and get over it? I just dont get it, usually when a chick aint interested its easy to tell.

Keep work and game separate. Duh. And don't stress yourself referring to the manager as a beta for fucks sake this is a hobby. He's just some middle manager with his own life and problems.

The key here is not to let it bother you... As long as it's not interfering with your work life. The problem is of course your managers are making a big deal out of it and this can have consequences for you. Then you have to question how much you need the job. Unfortunately, this can happen no matter what you are doing... In today's world your manager can get pissed off for anything and give you trouble.

And there are lots of women out there esp when it comes to work who put on a mask and will seem interested when they are really not.
