OK... this happened to me the other day and I'm not really sure what to make of it so I was hoping someone a bit more experienced could shed some light:

So I was talking to a girl I've known quite a while and been attracted to for a while but I've only come across the pua stuff fairly recently so it's only in the last month or so I've been able to game her effectively. A few days ago I was talking to her 1-on-1 and used a variation of Mystery's neg about her nose wiggling whenever she spoke. Problem was she got pretty upset and almost started crying about how ugly she feels. Now seriously, this is a HB 9 - 9.5. She started going on about how all her friends are so gorgeous and she always feels ugly next to them. She wasn't angry at me by any means but did seem quite worried about what I'd said.

I can't work out whether this was a shit test, fishing for compliments or whether she genuinely has low self esteem. Is trying to goad a guy into complimenting her on her looks a common shit test? Someone help me out here and thanks

That's a difficult one that.

My gut instinct is she's fishing for compliments.

My personal approach to that would be to say something along the lines of

'well rabbits have wrinkly noses and they're cute and so much fun to cuddle up with.'

I'd wait for the l'il giggle and then fire in a neg like

'...but they do have a terrible habit of shitting all over the garden...'

Dunno what you think but that's how I'd handle that one.
