i see it as if the movie comes into a big hit and show all the technique or most of it. This will kill the Whole Community but theyre one GOOD big thing that will come into play. GAME 2 a whole no GAME its all about Human we will ALL envolve Girls WILL BE SMARTER will think DIFFERENT and here we go again a NEW ADVENTURE haha honestly it's going to be GREAT we will be the first to find these new attraction Girls are looking for. This about it the real PUA OR MPUA its going to be a CHALLENGE and it will keep the Game interesting and you will have to Level up more so for the new comer they will have to learn A LOT more so what ever it is. I totally agree with Dorian and many others, I honestly don't think the film will 'damage' the community, it's not a secret society for goodness sake! The book has had critical acclaim everywhere (including here in the Uk), Mystery and Neil have been on TV, in the papers, it's not like no one has ever gone public about it. So what if there is a Hollywood film about it? Good bloody job I say, may actually get some AFCs picking up THEIR game and making it a better world for us single women!

And as some of you have said...there are films about how to meet women, how to meet men, how to be a criminal, a secret agent, a prostitute, a singer, a writer blah blah blah, it's not like everyone then goes out and copies it and leads successful lives in that field because they watched a film on the subject!

Does everyone try to be like James Bond? I don't think so (I haven't met them anyway!), does the secret service crap themselves because their secrets are uncovered (I don't think that films have ruined strategic global matters)? Do the military ban all films about submarines, the navy, the army etc etc? Nooooo! I really don't think it is something to worry about. And anyway, any girl who sees the film and susses you out for playing them because she saw it, have a laugh about it with her and use that as part of your pick up! If she is cool, she will laugh and it will be a new kind of opener...and if she is disgusted (don't see why she should be), then you can nicely point out that she should be flattered you're going to all that effort just for her as opposed to some AFC coming up to her and being unoriginal and often inappropriate.

It's not like girls all act like the women in 'Sex and the City' because they admire them or like them, you watch it, take in bits, leave some behind, laugh, maybe cry, but then go back to your own real life as you are.

I met the screenwriter at a premier and chatted with him. He said he's writing it with a fairly loose interpretation of the book. Just like Swingers had its little terms and catch phrases, the movie will have a few of the pua ones, but it's not going to affect a seasoned pua. Unless you're still using opinion openers...eek.

I don't think it matters too much how loosely they follow the book. If you're still using cliche opinion openers and wearing fluffy top hats when the movie comes out you deserve to get called out.

I think its going to fuck all the beginners in PUA. They rely on the basic stuff and with a movie, thats probably going to be huge, is going to exploit all of the basic stuff that they rely on and they will get fucked over. I really dont think Hollywood should make a movie on this. That is such a bad idea.

i read the first pages+ the last ones now and everything i got out from you guys is so far:

I would be more worried about the second thing if i didnt knew, that things you get out of a movie are seldom used in reallife. Take the movie hitch for example... we all learned that being spontaneous confident etc. gets you hot women still after watching that movie we dont see people being more confident than before...

Lets say this movie gets a BIG hit... then some ppl and not few are going to get that book. A huge percentage of those people are going to google these things up so either they're coming here or to sosuave...

of course that is a bad thing because it really harms a community if all suddenly new people come rushed into an existing one... but with time all will be better and many of the new ones are going to "give up" or leave with some old people. But with time everything will be back to normal.

People who are selling those overpriced dating books like david d.angelo and so on are getting more customers so they should be happy

I see this film as a chance of renewal and innovation. If they spoil every canned routine, those who want to keep sarging will have to create their own material. This will be like a blast in the community and we may expect lots of new ideas.

And come on, if you are a good pick up artist, people wouldn't catch you while you are playing them
