The reason my ex and i broke up was really stupid and had nothing to do with our compatibility, so i want her back.she texts me every day and sometimes wants to talk on the phone.from the things she has said i cant get a good reading on wether she wants to get back together or not.im out of town for a month but i THINK she may want to do just that when i get home....i cant be sure though.my problem is i dont want her to start viewing me as a friend so im not sure how to respond when she contacts me talking about her problems.i dont wanna be too cold and distant and make her think im shooting her down but at the same time i dont want her thinking ill be her emotional support as a friend either.please help me out with this guys....any advice?

Call her over for netflix and chill. Or to cook her a new recipe. Or to show her your new cat.

Then start escalating.

Also drop the friendly texting and phone calls to a minimum unless you want to friendzone yourself.

If you must talk to her by text at least flirt a lot. And let her initiate every time.

Well i would but like i said, im gonna be out of town for a month and wont see her until i get back.plus since her actions caused the breakup i feel like i need to make her work for it a little. Haha i know that sounds kinda picky.

Excellent point. Actually that helps me out withanother problem i was having as well.i was worried maybe not giving her any attention might cause her to seek it elsewhere but your right.building attraction must come first.

Try to create a jealousy scenario by inviting over another female, preferably attractive. See if she reacts, if she doesn't just get away from her, you're gonna just hurt yourself with this.
