Ok, Now I been wondering and thinking this for a while. I know we all use the same rating scale but sometimes I think I rate a girl less than she really is. While other rate her higher than what I think. Does anyone have like a rating system we could use.

I have been out with a friend and he is like check that girl out she is like a 9. Then I am like no she is like a high 7 or 8. I guess I down rate chicks to make them easier to approach. I dunno but I was just wondering how yall rate.

i rate them by looks at first but if she doesnt have any curves here rating drops big time.

Same here, Wood. If a girl doesn't have decent juggs, then she has no use for me. Good question. btw, Whoopie. I personally would say that good clothes adds a point to an HB. It elevates my perception of her.

I think what's most important about nice clothes is that it shows she sees highly of herself, so yes it should move her up the scale. The HB rating system is most useful as a tool to figure out how to handle a particular woman, and in that respect it only matters what SHE thinks she is, not what you think she is. What you think she is only matters when you're bragging to your friends and really serves no practical purpose.

I'm not a big fan of using the 1-10 scale, basically because there's no standard. The same girl can look like a different number to different people, and so forth. However, I will say that a woman's clothing will negatively effect her if she's dressed like crap or just plain looks weird.

Clothes can make woman hotter than what she really is. Just like make-up. Personality can be a huge factor as well. Ill dock a girl a few points if she is hot but has a shitty personality.

I feel its time for a new scale though. I got this from Patrice O Neal. hes a really funny comediain who gives great advice on females.

He has a 1-30 scale.
1-10 Ugly women
11-20 Decent looking
21-30 Hot women

Here are examples of how the 1-30 system is broken down.

A 10 is good looking ugly woman.
While an 11 is a ugly looking decent woman.
An 18 is a hotter decent woman
A 21 is an ugly looking hot woman
And a 30 is basically a playboy play mate.

I see the rating scale as perceived fairly superficially by most of the community.

As has been mentioned above, it's not JUST looks that maketh the Hot Babe, but personality too. I recently read something from Area51 that essentially outlined that a "HB 10" with a selfish/poor personality is really a UG or a 0, and a "HB 7" with an awesome personality is really a 10.

This girl i met last week was an HB10 because of her looks and personality combo. She could keep up with me when we were talking sports and had this really attractive personality. Her looks are amazing as well. She had the hb10 package, but didn't really act like it.

Learn that quote. The "rating" scale is basically bullshit because what I rate a 8, some other guy would rate a 10. (or visa versa) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and very rarely will you get a group of guys to agree on a rating for a woman.

Of course personality plays a big factor. I wouldn't hang out with a SHB(playboy model type) if she was boring, annoying, or bitchy. Now if a HB is like a 7 and a chick as personality. She can jump up to a 9 in my book.

I just really don't see how and where we got the number system for. My buddy has this list of how he rate girls. I mean its pretty intense. I am going to ask him to type it up and send it to me. Its a pretty funny list.

Outfits really do catch my eye. I guess for me a womans beauty goes hand in hand with style. i can see some woman and find her completely ugly in a skirt and skanky tank top, but put that same woman in denim jeans and a t-shirt with stilettos and her hair pressed long and she becomes a 8 minumim. Otherwise i dont give women much higher than an 8 (unless its like salma hayek or jessica alba or something) because i dont know their personality. I actually have my own system for grading.

The rating scale is by its very nature subjective. Most of you have been cognoscente of that fact.

I think before we can answer the original question we have to take a look at ourselves. Why is it that peacocking works? Our outer appearance is a reflection of our inner confidence and personality. Dressing flashy and/or flamboyant coveys a strong sense of self worth, character and confidence. It makes us more attractive and there is no reason the opposite wouldn't be true.

A girl's personality does make her more or less attractive. I acquire a quick and sharp bitter taste for 'consistently' bitchy girls, once I realize it no longer is part of a barrier. A decent looking girl with a fabulous aura slowly becomes immensely hotter.
