I have been doing pickup for a few months now, but I am quite limited to where I can go(being seventeen), and one of the main places I go to is the mall. I normally have a few friends with me, and my blow-out rate is quite high. My one friend recently brought up a good point; I could potentially ruin my rep by talking to all the hot girls at the mall and trying to get their numbers. It kind of makes sense, because I feel like if word gets around, none of the girls are going to take me seriously, because they will just be like "Oh, that's the guy who asks for everyone's number."

Please advise.

The world will oppose anyone who comes off as different or someone who challenges their beliefs. Because it makes them realize their own insecurities. If you are living your life based on what others think of you, then remember in general that nobody wants someone else to ducceed or rise above him (human nature). So would you stop working, getting success just to please others?

To be more specific, If you think yourself that you are doing something wrong, others will feel that too. But if you own what you are doing, others will be comfortable too. People feel the same energy that you have yourself. And specially girls, trust me they actually like a guy who's flirty, as long as it's not cheesy or creepy.

Man, that was extremely well said! I can can completely see what you mean. I need to champion what I am doing and believe that I am doing what's right; nothing less. I don't need the validation from others, I just need it from within myself. It's crazy how simple words can completely change your way of thinking! Thank you so much man!

I agree with the others, now is the time to experiment and who cares what anyone else thinks because as long as you are sure of yourself that is all that matters! People may be laughing at you now and make fun of you for getting rejected publicly at the mall, but if you keep it consistent they won't be laughing when you're pulling 10's every night and they're huddled in the corner wondering what to even say to a girl.

And you'll only be known as "that guy who asks for everyone's number" if that's all you do, but obviously a good pua doesn't just go around asking for numbers. You're not going to be creepy about it, if you're doing pickup right then a girl should enjoy your interaction and even if you do get shut down, she'll appreciate your confidence and you probably will have made her day. So screw what your friends say because to master this skill that few people have, you have to be willing to do the things that few people are willing to do!
