Quick Back Story: Met this girl on Saturday night at a bar, who is a mutual friend of my good buddy. We kinda hit it off in the sense that we hung out and talked all night. I isolated her during the night, but never went for the K-Close which is a big part of where I fucked up. However, I grabbed her number the next morning (I was staying in the same house as her and a bunch of people) and texted her later that evening just to make some playful small talk, but she didn't respond to my last text so I just let be. That was on Sunday.
Today I texted her this:
Me: Hey so I'm headed to _______ tomorrow in the afternoon to do _______ and was wondering if you'd be down to meet up after?
HB: Hey, sorry I've got a work dinner tomorrow night after our QBRs.
Basically a flat out rejection without the mentioning of an alternative. Any suggestions on what to text back?
Should I keep it short and sweet and say "Cool, no worries!" or try for something C+F like "that sounds miserable, I'm way more fun"
Thanks!

If she was interested in you, you would know that as well.
Not taking it to the next level could have blown it, or she may not be a good fit. No point grasping at straws. _________________ They call me the cat whisperer, cause I know exactly what the pussy needs.

From a practical point of view... How can someone mention an alternative to an incidental invite? Like if you hit me up and said hey man I'm going to see x movie on Wednesday wanna come with... Am I supposed to say nah I have to work but let's go on Thursday to see the movie again?!? See how that doesn't make it easy for a girl to offer an alternative? I say that just to tell you don't use these phrases that don't really make it easy for her to give an alternative. Better to just have asked when she was free.
Do you think she liked you? From what
