Some Date ideas in cold weather in Manhattan

I'm brand new to Manhattan, preferably near east village and i know it shouldn't be that difficult But needless to say the intention is to pull, i would like some ideas where drinking is not an option. Any cheap places for bowling, ice skating or any other ideas.

Because bowling or ice skating and then dinner later could easily amount to 100 bucks.

There has to be some cool stores. I remember as a kid I was at this place in Florida - tons of stores - it was called Bolt City or something like that. But all the stores were fascinating. I remember they had posters of chicks in bikinis/scantily glad and as a nine-year-old that was pretty great. Point is there are interesting stores to take a chick to. Spend an hour there and have fun conversing.

Also, check out Meetup.com - they have lots of free things - like free comedy shows - all you need to do is RSVP.

But, I live in New York City as well and you don't have to go on dates man. I personally just won't do it. Especially during the winter time. You can get a girl on the phone or on FaceTime for 30-45 mins and make them comfortable enough to come to your house if you're confident enough to ask them, and then challenge them on any hang ups they may have about it if they present you with objections.

Have her meet you to pick up some groceries so the two of you can go back to your place and prepare the food. She wants to chill with you and not necessarily go on some adventure - you are the adventure.

@Eddie Fews: I did coffee, that's why more ideas and she doesn't drink.

Also, that's freaking awesome if you can do something like that. Get a girl to your house in after 30-40 min chat. I do wanna try that.
