I had the following situation at work:

New colleague came, 28, cute 165 cm with brown hair and really nice voice. Smiles all the time. She wears an engagement ring. She might has however low self esteem: she often makes jokes of her own behaviour, like how lame it is when she makes coffee, or how bad it is when she signs a song or how "small" she is at work and in her profession. (In the meantime, e erybody likes her really, all clients love her - we are lawyers - she does perfect job without any mistakes).

I saw her ring, found out on Facebook that she is engaged since 2 years and tried to find another girl to think about as she is in a serious relationship.

And after that she obviously flirted with me like this:
- she: "Today I have to go to a ... Ministry".
- me: " Cool, i wanted to ask you to do me a favour if you go there"
- she: "Use me!" and looks sexy, smiles, laughs.

Or:
- me: "Why did you spend so much time at your last workplace if you did not like it?"
- she: "I like it when it hurts" - smiling, laughing, sexy.

We have a lot of fun at work in small-talks because we keep negging each other cocky and funny, but we did not have an private time at all since months: I dont want to ask her out as she is engaged and she probably would never make a move.

Ioi-s:
- she gave me flirtatious negs, always smiles at me, sometimes looks at me with glazing eyes

Iod-s:
She keeps distance, when it was raining and I had one umbrella she still kept a distance instead of standing close to me.

Of course, I dont chase engaged women, but I had so much fun with her, we were laughing at lunch and in the morning on the bus etc. that I started to like her more than a friend while I understood her behaviour that I am in her friend zone.However, the above sexy sentences from her confused me really, friends dont say tbings like that to me.


What do you guys think?
Did she like me more than a friend? Did I miss a one night stand with her because I did not react on her shit tests correctly?
Anyway: Why on Earth would be a girl like this so negative with herself (I mean: keeps negging HERSELF all tbe time).

Sounds like she's an MPUA.

Some women are just flirts and teases. You never know a woman likes you until you make a move. If you're not going to, then dont think too hard about it.

You are right, I will stop thinking about this. She really must be an "mPUA", because after 4-5 weeks, all men at work are on her hook, including me, the clients and my boss

She looks like a little nice girl, average but nice (elegant business skirt, nothing outrageous, like a perfect wife). She looks a little bit sad and shows low self-esteem. Its easy to approach her. While having an innocent conversation, she starts flirting with you.

Can I have an other question:

What would you guys answer to the following?
"Oh, you are such a nice guy"--- and she looks at you as if she felt sorry for you.

I often get this or similar from women, maybe because I look like a big innocent boy (I am 33 and people usually think I am 27-28). And the above sentence drives me crazy, I do not feel and do not want to be that "nice guy", it would be sooo great to have a good answer for this.
