I agree, I'm just curious why some think it's something you are born with

It's learned. Some people develop it through experience and others through purposeful development. At the end of the day, it's all learned.

Ignore those 'some people'.

If you were born and raised in a creepy Austrian basement for 14 years with no friends or life, I can imagine your social skills would be shattered.

how do you work on your charisma ? I personally try to push my comfort zone, when ever I get an uncomfortable feeling about something, I know I have to do it, for example: I had a speech to present, I wasn't comfortable about standing in front of a bunch of people ,so I knew I had to volunteer to present first.

Go get a job in face to face sales. Force yourself to be charismatic.

Some people are born into a situation in which the foundation to be charismatic is already laid out, but it can definitely be learned.

But lets just say someone here said " Born, not learned' would you give up? Or would you try and figure it out? Now unless you would give up, this question is without purpose.

Conor McGregor has charisma. Jose Aldo does not. What does McGregor do that Aldo doesn't?

McGregor reaches out and says what's on his mind aside from the fact that he's really very good at what he does.

The masses call success in any area "natural gifts."

They simply don't see the laser-directed WORK and "failure" after "failure" that was put in for that individual to get to that point.

They only see the success. While they were eating junk food and watching tv every night, the eventual successful person was honing their craft.
