I've spent some time off of the Internet, trying to reset the way I think about pickup. I've realized that some of the things discussed here don't matter at all and I've had a lot more success lately without wondering whether or not I'm doing things "right" every step of the way.

With that being said, I'm moving to a big city soon and I want to start learning about the things that actually matter. My question for you is, what was that one breakthrough that really elevated your game?

Whether it be a book, a thread, piece of information, a change in yourself, a challenge, etc.

I've heard good things about the book, "How To Win Friends And Influence People" and I've thought about picking it up but I want to be very careful about the info that I take in from now on. I'm interested in learning the ins and outs of day game because my success has been 100% at night and my looks go a long way for me. I have the most trouble opening and actually hooking a girl, but after that it's smooth sailing.

Jeff (Warped Mindless) has a talent in getting to the heart of the matter minus the fluff and bullshit and explaining things clearly and simply. There's just no excuse not to get the point and apply the theory.

Also, once I've busted my escalation anxiety, everything went smooth sailing from thereon. Dragula/Pebble provides an insight into Escalation Anxiety that revolutionized my game AND that's putting it mildly. This forum is generally focused in busting Approach Anxiety. Once you realize that you need to overcome your escalation anxiety as well, you'll be miles ahead in seduction.

Most importantly, you have to go out and practice the above in field multiple times every day. No practice and all theory is just a waste of time.
