I just wanted to say first off I'm a natural and I look to your community to fix holes in my game.Last night I opened a set just to socialize and not even pick up honestly but failed. I was wondering where was my mistake? Here's the story:
I went to where I usually game at last night. I been opening sets all night successfully. I see an HB8. I walk up to her and open her with positive results.
Me:How are you doing tonight?
HB8:Good. I'm having a good time.
Me:I'm glad to hear it.
HB8:Blah,blah,blah( this is irrelevant and I'm omitting to make this shorter)
Me:I like your eyebrows. Are they painted on?
HB8:No there real.
Me: (I feel them. My compliancy test. She complied. I then try to put a smile on her face after the neg.) I have a slight unibrow but it's invisible. When can you fix mine(w/smile)?
HB8:I can't fix it in here tonight...blah,blah,blah
Her friend walks up who is an HB10. She surprises me because I didn't see her earlier.
Me:Look your friend is getting jealous that I'm talking to you.
Hb8:Blah,blah
Me:(I've bumped into the Hb10 on another night but never really opened) You shouldn't drink Sparks. There bad for you.

Hb10:You don't remember my name?(her mouth is wide open,possibly an IOI?, I was saying this to see if I was dealing with an HB10 mentally)

Me:Blah,blah,blah
HB10:blahblah(IOI's throughout)
So on and so on until
HB10:My boyfriend blah,blah

HB10:At home asleep.
Me:Is he imaginary? You don't have to make up having a boyfriend to make me jealous. I already think you are attractive.
HB10:(shows me pic of him on cell phone)
Me:He's just your friend(with smile on my face).
HB10:blahblahblah
Me:What's his major weakness(about to attempt boyfriend destroyer)?
Hb10:None
Me: Everyone has a weakness.
Hb10:Blah, blah(nothing else really said about her boyfriend)
So on and so on until we start talking about sugar daddies.
HB10:I don't need anything. Rich men have proposed to me.(blah,blah blah, basically men eat out of her hand is her speech. I personally hate it when women start talking like this but I guess she was trying to validate herself to me)
Me:You mean thousandaires have proposed to you or millionaires?
HB10:You're a smart ass. I'm really mad. Get the fuck away from me right now.(could tell she was starting to get drunk,empty cans of sparks laying around. starting to look like a battle field. she is presently drinking water though)
I leave. I immediately open another set to dhv. The Hb10 is eyeballing me. I decide to walk up to her to validate her so she has a good night because I hate ruining peoples nights. Also the NLP guy said to always leave a woman better than you found her.
Me:Sorry for being a smart ass.
HB10:Blahblah
Me:blahblah
She shows me her long tongue and I can see her tonsils. Conversation escalated to her saying she is so beautiful she has a girlfriend and a boyfriend. I decide to neg because her head was getting big from what it sounded like to me.
Me:You better enjoy having a girlfriend and a boyfriend while you're young. The older you get the harder it will be to have both because old folks need botox.
HB10:How old are you?
Me:21
HB10:I'm 23. I haven't heard any complaints yet. Get the fuck away from me. I don't need botox(obviously she misheard me)
I leave. She is getting real loud. Now that I think about it she might have been a little beligerant. I go to my old set to dhv. The HB10 is eyeballing me hard. I could tell she was talking shit about me to validate herself. Im not trying to pick her up anymore because she's that drunk. I was thinking let me make her quiet so she doesn't dlv me. After I complete this mission I will leave because...I will leave this entire area so she can go home in peace.
Me:Baby...you shouldn't drink those sparks like that. You're beligerant. You no you don't need botox. Right now you're so beautiful you're killing me. You misheard me earlier.
HB10:(slurring slightly)I don't want to talk to you. You asked me what was my secret to botox was about?(Her sentence structure was literally like this. I didn't say this at all.)
Me:The structure of that question doesn't even make sense. Why would I say that to you(I gazed in her right eye as I said this because this gets to a woman heart)
HB10: Speechless
Me: well I want you to have a good night. I'm leaving(sincerely meaning what I say I leave and go outside and see one of her friends)
Me to HB10's friend: What kind of shit was she talking about me?
Friend: I couldn't even understand her.
Me: how drunk was she?
Friend:She was drinking all night.
I leave her and I go home. The Hb10 gave me IOI's all night. She was kind of buzzed earlier but maybe she was drunk. When she got mad at me for no reason I easily made her happy again. What did I do wrong? Did I treat her like an HB10 when mentally she might have been lower or had low self esteem? Was she to drunk? Was there holes in my game or what? I appreciate all thoughts on the subject.

I could be wrong but is it possible that you IOI'ed to much/to soon?
like calling her attractive?

Agreed. Too many compliments and more negs. But it looked like she was mis-interprteting your negs, so i could see why you were trying to do damage control. So she kinda broke your frame and you became inconsistent. Im kinda guessing there, but thats what I kinda got outta your story. I think you probably could have number closed at least one of them though because it seems like you took her completely outta her comfort zone.

I've read your transcript and just like the boyz said that you IOI'd too fast. Your suppost to have her chase you instead of you chasing her. It's good that you negged and used C&F lines. However, what I would've done is instead of focusing on the HB10 right away just focus on the HB8 while the HB10 would butt in and say to her friend, "Is she always like this?"

Also you little bit of DLV in the description you gave. You showed her that you didn't feel worthy or whatever maybe nervious. I dunno know! Also they may have not been good negs because they were kinda insultive. The boltax thing is like saying the girl has a big saggy ass. However, alcohol could've played a big role in this of misinterpation.

You entered the set but came out with some AFC responses. You should've gave a jealous GF opener or some opener you have stumbled on this forum or whatever.

When you approach a set you must have higher energy level than the set you're opening. Also, sound interesting and enthusiatic; this will create a dynamic effect how the set responses to you. Also be relaxed and confident which I'm sure you were that night. However don't get stressed out because of little shit. Have a who gives a fuck attitude.

I would have to admit she was giving you IOI's and also IOSI's (Indicators of Sexual Interest). She was DHV'ing to you to get you attracted. However you told her in a AFC way she was attractive. She already knows she's attractive and doesn't need any more compliments. She needs to negged and C&F lines to 1) Lower her status and make her be on your level; in your reality. 2) Have her step into your frame and that's called Frame Control. 3) Use C&F (Cocky & Funny) lines to add alittle humor to the mix. When I read about the boltax thing I wanted to laugh but it's alittle bit too much insultive.

There was a last part of your description where I caught on, I think it was where you put her higher than yourself. Someone may have already said this but you treated her like a princess. Treat her like a human being with flaws just like everyone else. She's not special; only to AFC's. Make sure she knows that but not being insultive only in a humous way.

Your sticking points I would say is:

1) Too much either DHV or too much IOI's right off the bat. It's good to DHV but too much isn't any good.

2) Seemed needing her validation from her friend also when you asked about if she was talking about you-it seemed like you were affected in some way. Never show a woman you're affected by her shit tests or anything. The "How old are you?" could've been a shit test or a IOI. I think it was a IOI. However, what I think she did was very effective was push-pull tactic. In a way she showed you that she wasn't interested but also interested, so it was mix signals being sent from her. Maybe she was teasing you or maybe she was truely attracted to you. However, if she was attracted to you she would've mentioned her boyfriend and girlfriend. That was just bragging and DHV'ing too much. Mentioning a girlfriend could be a DLV for some guys but some guys love the idea. It could've been another shit test also. She possibly wanted to see what you're reaction would be if she told you those things.

Also alcohol creates a sense of irritable in people at times. They're very touchy and very emotional sometimes.

Stealth covered everything i was trying to say. When I say she broke your frame you went into appologizing and complimenting instead of keeping up with the negs and cocky funny. Both very AFC. i think you went about it wrong in the sense that you tried to flatter her to boost her mood when she was being all bitchy from drinking too much. I think you would have been able to convey that you were higher class than her if you had done something like

" look. your attractive and we vibe really well but your being immature right now, and its a total turn off.we'll talk later, after you sober up, because this is ruining what i think of you."


something to that effect would have worked really well, and she wouldnt have been able to recover from that for sure, and it might stop her arrogance.

Why were you trying to pick up a chick that drunk anyway? Know you said that your a natural, but going for a challenge is half the fun. Plus, if she's that drunk, no way here friend is letting it go any further than convo.

Personally I stay away from drunk chicks.
