Well if you want some middle ground between being a chronic masturbator and going blue balls, I'd say you should try visualizing yourself screwing women instead of watching porn. It's not so hard to give up porn but it can be difficult to stop jerking off... So what you could do is whenever you really need to masturbate, you could lie down, close your eyes, and visualize gorgeous women coming to you, chasing after you, pinning you down and having sex with you. And you could masturbate to that. The mind can't distinguish between real and imagined.

That's why people get afraid and start sweating while watching scary movies. They know it's not real (consciously) but the subconscious mind can't tell the difference between real and imagined.

So basically your mind will think you get chased and seduced by women...and that could resulting increased sexual confidence/non-neediness.

But at the end of the day it's best to just cut back on masturbating to once a week or better yet, control your sexual energy until the end of the week then go out and get laid Saturday night.

Good post. I was enlightened to the idea of not masturbating by reading some online forums a long time ago. I believe it was Mystery or Style who said that not masturbating was key to good inner game. I stopped masturbating and I couldn't believe the difference in my game. I started to see women as angelic like creatures, rather than just smutty sluts like porn depicts them. Needless to say, I got laid more often, and the sex wasn't cheap or sleazy.
It was actually a magical formula that went something like this. No porn + no masturbation = magical relationships with women. And it doesn't mean that you have to commit. You can still have a harem, but that harem will be treated like goddesses and treasures, rather than sleazy sluts.

I had my last hoorah on Friday. Although, I haven't been doing it much since my break-up since thinking about sex and seeing it just makes me think about my ex. So, it really wasn't working for me anyhow.

After a lot of thinking and talking with various people around the world, I came to my personal
conclusion that porn is the great enemy of success with women. Especially if you're watching too

There were guys who were failures with women long before porn wasn't as readily and easily available.

That being said, I'm gonna go no fap for a bit and see what happens. I'm not under the impression that it will make me some pick up God, but I do want to see what happens to my libido for more than a week of not fapping/not having sex.

Yes, that's true. Giving up porn is not going to make you successful with women. However, watching porn
on a regular basis and fapping, will make it IMPOSSIBLE to succeed with women no matter what you do.

That's why it is the enemy of success with women.

Get away from it, start doing stuff that get you to feel your body, like sports, meditation, yoga.

Start being aware of the process that go through your body, start feeling emotions. Connect with
yourself.

And as you do this, you'll be able to connect with fear and overcome it. You'll start to be aware of
your own thoughts and overcome it. You'll also be able to connect with women as you two talk.

You won't be so numbed and disconnected from yourself, which porn makes out of you.

Friday (3 full days) and still going strong lol.

Still haven't fapped/choked the chicken. However, I don't feel more "in touch" with my emotions, or less "disconnected" from myself (like how the efff can you disconnect with yourself? Outside of an industrial accident?)

In order to understand how to be in touch with yourself, you've gotta understand what it means to be disconnected from yourself.

Simply put, you are not your body. This life is a small portion of your real life. Your body is just a mode of transportation to see the world that you were born into. Sounds weird... but hopefully that makes sense.

Now, on the other end of the scale... you are yourself. don't be totally deluded and piss your life away because "fuck it! Nothing matters bro!"

You can learn to really connect your spirit to your body after a while and then you can tell your body to do what it wants.

I realized all of this a few years ago after a crazy trip so that's why it sounds a little "strange"
