So I numbered closed this weekend again without even trying. She was a real pretty girl (innocent looking) working at the bar I was getting steadily more inebriated at.

Before you dismiss this post- I'm not boasting here - I'm trying to work something out.

Why is that after I've had 4/5 pints my game goes through the roof? In fact, on reflection, every pickup I've ever had has been under the influence, and long before I even knew about the game.

I've never gone out with the intention of picking up (yet) but the thought makes me uneasy. Yet, when I go out on the lash with mates with no real intention of pulling I usually end up successful. Why!?

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Risk which equal boldness, boldness which equals sexually attraction?

Its like most guys, they're good with women when they care because their emotions are a lot more suppressed and there inhibitions are lower. Its normal.

The real game starts when you get out there without the crutch and go to work. Theres nothing wrong with drunk pick ups, but if thats all you do, you don't actually have game.. You're just a liberated drunk guy.

I'm pretty new to the game so I guess I'm the "liberated drunk" but it's been getting me laid for the last 10 years - just not as frequently and consistently as I'd like.

I've got game, I just think it's overshadowed by a lack self-confidence - most the of the women I've sober-gamed I've ended up in long-term relationship with

I don't think picking up drunk means you have no game, I think it just allows you to be relaxed enough to say and do what you normally would without fear of the consequences.

Whenever I've been successfull drunk I never wake up and say "who was that guy", rather I'm proud at what I can accomplish when I get out of my own head and am simply myself. The way I act while I'm drunk talking to a girl is exactly the way I would act, drunk or sober with friends.

So no, I don't agree that drunk equals only drunk game, but obviously the goal is to get as comfortable sober as you are while drinking
