I've read in various PUA boards, blogs etc that a girl playing with her hair is a universal sign of interest. However, I'm curious as to how true this is.


From your experiences, is any kind of hair playing a sign of attraction? I've noticed girls play with their hair a lot around me, but I thought it was so prevalent that I rationalized it as girls just liked playing with their hair. I was out for a drink with a couple of girls the other night, and one of them was playing with her hair a lot, but she seemed to be plaiting it. Or at a course I was on, the girl I was sitting next to put her hair up, then after a while, let it down, then a while after, put it back up, and so on throughout the morning?

Is this the kind of hair playing people talk about? It seems a bit of a generalisation that all hair playing is for attraction, but I guess it makes sense in its a subconscious reaction to present yourself as attractive around men you are are attracted to,

Playing with hair as IOI must be with present other symbols as well. Playing with hair can also mean that girl feels uncomfortable or shy. If there is just you and her and if she plays with her hair, touches or bites lips, etc can be IOI u can easily check if she is comfortable with u with some not too sexual kino. Like sit by her and place your hand that your hand or for example knees r in contact if she doesnt move for a longer time she most likely likes u.

Agreed. The thing with Indicators of Interest (IOI) is you need to spot a few. Girls playing with their hair is so random. I know girls that do it without even thinking about it, they just sit and twirl their hair. Some do it as nervous energy, some out of a habit developed, and some as part of an IOI. There are all kinds of IOIs to look for but eye contact in set is huge, laughing at your jokes, touching you (kino) obviously, them orienting their legs or hips toward you (being hooked), or them asking for your name are generally the better ones. There are tons of secondary IOIs like this but I generally don't pay them as much attention.

Instead of looking for IOIs just focus on nonverbal signs of submission. A very basic nonverbal submission cue goes like this:

You pass each other at the hallway. You look straight into her eyes with a smile on your face. She looks down (sign of submission #1). She gets a quick glance at the hard on bulging in your pants then looks back up again in your eyes.

Say "Hello". When she says, "hello" right back, that's a good old classic mirroring out there. Shoot your hand for a handshake and when she takes your hand, that's mirroring #2.

Next, as you're shaking her hand invert the handshake so your hand is on top and hers underneath. If she doesn't resist or react unfavorably, that's submission #2.

Hold her hand a tad bit longer. When she doesn't pull back that's submission #3.

Those submission signs and actions from your end will beat any hair twirling any time of the day.

The hard on is crucial. Girls tend to comply a lot more to your compliance tests when they see that you're horny. The hornier they get, the bigger compliance you can get from girls and the more submissive they become.

I think you're thinking way too hard when you could just be taking action and finding out for yourself.

The trick to seduction is to always ASSUME ATTRACTION. Assume a girl is attracted to you and behave like it no matter what she does. If a girl coughs in the same parking lot as me I assume she coughed because she wanted me to look 300 feet across the parking lot at her and go approach.

Who cares about indicators of interest? Make them shits up and go for it! Give yourself every possible excuse on this planet to make your move. Be a God.. Stop waiting on the woman to give you the cue. Get up and go lead her. Thats what this material is all about.

Waiting for an IOI or looking or hoping for one is a supplicative move on the guy's part imo.

^This. I only use IOIs to turn a cold approach into a warm approach and while I'm into the interaction to see how receptive she is to me.





In any case, from a psychological point of view, if you see a girl touching her hair IN A CONVERSATION WITH YOU while making EYE CONTACT is only regarded as an indicator of interest only if she does it MULTIPLE TIMES over a time of 20 SECONDS.
In other cases, she might just had some hair in her mouth and wants to put them back.
