King Korona, I apologize for coming off a little rash earlier. I think I was just in a bad mood when I wrote that post and for some reason, I channeled my frustrations out on you. . .My bad.
I think I misinterpreted your argument because of how you presented it. In fact, I agree with your position on One-Itis. . . I just don't think people should get roasted for having a special girl that they want to game. Based on the polarity of these responses, it seems evident that there are conflicting definitions of the term "One-Itis", so it's almost impossible to have a debate on the said topic.
Like I wrote in a former post, my idea of One-Itis is as follows:
Quote:
The problem with One-Itis' is that there is no Game: no openers, no canned routines, and not a whole lot of negging involved. We are reduced to our simple-selves. The reason is that we know One-Itis became One-Itis by understanding our simple-self; she can see past our clever charades. She leaves us with the sensations of vulnerability, nervousness, edification, and frustration, all at the same time. It proves to be a tricky combination.

Oooh check out the expert.
Thank you. I take that as a compliment.

You ussually get so nervous around them that you cant even think straight. That is a VERY negative feeling. And HELL NO you cant just go out and "chase the girl" you have one-itis over. If you think so, you have been misinformed n the real definition of one-itis.
How do you figure? Some people game in order to get that very feeling. Maybe they love the girl, or maybe they have some other ulterior reason.
Let's take me, for example. I have always been relatively successful at Gaming, so when I get nervous around a girl that I'm attracted to (my One-Itis for example), I kind of like it. It's almost like a challenge.
As LOCO put it earlier, "id much rather have one girl that i can grow to love than going with a bunch of girls i couldnt give 2 shits about."
GRKiller, Maybe you just don't have a girl like that in your life???

If you are going by the definition of one-itis that says she is someone you haven't ever had and thus should not have any really strong feelings for, then I agree, having a one-itis like that is stupid.
I completely agree.
