If you have alot of followers on twitter or facebook or comments on your youtube channel do you think that is a form of social proof? Or is it a very small difference so it isn't really social proof at all.
Personally, yes I do believe it is a form of social proof.

Like if you're a youtube celebrity or you have thosands of friends on facebook and the girl sees it, is the social proof something that actual helps?
Think about it. If you have someone on facebook that started getting roughly 100 likes for every post, wouldn't you think "hey.. there is something up with that guy.." So, in turn girls are probably thinking the same thing

. I am actually a part of a facebook group that collectively "likes" each others statuses. We see it as a means of adding value to each other. Which is what the "likes" basically stand for; the amount of value you have. Celebes are of high value; hence why they have a lot of likes.
But truthfully I would say just be you man and don't worry about the likes. I have gotten many likes on posts yet girls are not flocking their wings all over me online. It's more of an ego boost, if anything. The only thing I personally believe that will really attract a girl is your behavior, as well as your lifestyle. With the appropriate mindsets and a passion for something, that should be all you need.
