If you have alot of followers on twitter or facebook or comments on your youtube channel do you think that is a form of social proof? Or is it a very small difference so it isn't really social proof at all.

How do you think internet social proof is compared to social proof in real life and being seen with other people? Like if you're a youtube celebrity or you have thosands of friends on facebook and the girl sees it, is the social proof something that actual helps?

Personally, yes I do believe it is a form of social proof.
Think about it. If you have someone on facebook that started getting roughly 100 likes for every post, wouldn't you think "hey.. there is something up with that guy.." So, in turn girls are probably thinking the same thing . I am actually a part of a facebook group that collectively "likes" each others statuses. We see it as a means of adding value to each other. Which is what the "likes" basically stand for; the amount of value you have. Celebes are of high value; hence why they have a lot of likes.
But truthfully I would say just be you man and don't worry about the likes. I have gotten many likes on posts yet girls are not flocking their wings all over me online. It's more of an ego boost, if anything. The only thing I personally believe that will really attract a girl is your behavior, as well as your lifestyle. With the appropriate mindsets and a passion for something, that should be all you need.

For something cool? Yes. A lot. For something like starcraft tournaments? Only for gamer girls that like gamer guys.
Depends a lot on who the friends are. Real people who look cool? Yes. Masses of people on the friend exchange programs? No.
Though vastly more important than number of friends is what kind of pictures you have up. If she thinks you're cute and look fun, that's vastly more useful than friend count.
